General statement
A 150m3 blast furnace mainly include furnace body, dedusting, hot air
furnace, charging, one 30 meter casting machine and corresponding equipments
on water, power, gas, heating, road and basic accessories.
Here we just give contents of blast furnace system. utilization coefficient is
4.0t/m3·d,with 21000 MT annual production and 10000 MT slag.

Coke tank and material transfer system, furnace top and charging
system, furnace body, tuyere platform and cast house, gas system, hot air oven,
slag treatment, blower station, cast machine and process facilities, like power
supply, HVAC, water supply and drainage and other auxiliary facilities.

4.1 iron production
4.1.1 On the utilization coefficient of 4.0t/m3·d, with annual working of 350
days, the annual production will up to 21000T.

4.1.2 Ore & coke channel and materials transfer system
The coke and ore channel designed in single line distribution, beside the
furnace central line
With 2 coke channel, 2 ore channel and 1 volume ore channel totally.
There is feeding system below the channels, in the way of individual
screening, separate weighing and tape transport feeding method.
4.1.3 Materials charging and furnace top
Furnace top pressure is 20-60kPa, with 2 sets of pressure sharing and
discharging system.
Small hopper volume is 2m3 and big hopper effective volume is 4.5m3, the
effective volume of materials skip is 1m3
4.1.4 Furnace body
Pyhnic type of furnace body is adopted for high metallic ore smelting.

⑴ Steel frame of furnace body: all the platform are supporting on the
furnace shell.
⑵ Lining: High Al bricks used in furnace bottom, hearth, bosh, belly and
lower stack parts, and clay bricks are used in mid and upper parts.
⑶ Spray cooling method used in the furnace body with free-standing
furnace shell.
4.1.5 Tuyere platform and cast house
Tuyere platform is a solid platform.
Casting in front of furnace, with fixed wheel type 30 meters single-line
casting machine.
Electrical tapehole machine and a hydraulic clay gun are put in each iron

groove side.
4.1.6 Raw gas system
Gas is transferred by two pipes from the furnace, and put together into one
pipe and drop into gravity dust collector.
4.1.7 Slag processing
Vesicular slag process adopted

Three sphere type hot blast stove equipped with proper refractory materials.

4.1.9 Cast machine
Capacity of a cast machine is maximum 120t per day, which surely can meet
demands.
Max capacity 80t/h(10m/min)。
Properties of main equipment:

⑷ water spray cooling
4.2 Thermal
4.2.1 Blasting station
Two Rhodes blowers with size of 160Nm3/min are set up for the furnace;
the cool air will blow in through blasting pipes into heating oven.
4.3 Ventilation and dust removal
Sealing covers are put around each dust collection point, and all the dust will
discharged after standard treatment.
Ventilation and air conditioning are equipped for Laboratory, substation,
power distribution room, duty room and operation room.
4.4 gases
Gas facilities mainly include 1) the BFG dry bag dust collector; 2)
spontaneous emission of remaining gas; 3) Dry cloth bag collector to gas pipe
line.
Dry cloth bag collector used in gas collection with gas anti blowing method.
4.5 powers
Load of power supply for all the equipment, after compensations, will be:
Pjs=380kW, with 415v start voltage.
One substation, the smelting one, with voltage of 416V, load of 380kVA, and
1 power transformer of 630kVA.
4.6 meters
Include all meters for furnace fan, gas, heating, water cycling system and

auxiliary facility, and also for process controlling.
4.7 communications
Communication system, industrial television system, fire alarm system are
included.
A 32 program-controlled dispatching host set up, as the connection hub for
all telephones in the factory.
4.8 test and chemical analysis
A laboratory center will be set up for quality analysis of raw materials and
products.
