This thesis presents theoretical, methodological and empirical results of research aimed at solving the current problem of organizational psychology � psychological factors determining the adoption of innovations by academic staff of trade and economic area university.

We substantiated psychodiagnostical tools and developed an empirical model of research organization; we clarified the essence of psychological factors components for adoption of innovations, features of their manifestations on individual psychological, motivational, communication and temperament levels.

We defined 5 groups of factors which combined basic components of innovations adoption by surveyed: F1 «Individual psychological», F2 «Social», F3 «Motivational», F4 «Interaction» and F5 «Temperament».

We proved that a significant positive impact on innovations adoption have such indicators as orientation on process, result, work and power; high level of social status features, social activity, sociability, optimism. Simultaneously we found inverse correlation with scales of emotional exhaustion, anxiety, irritability, depression, aggression and neurosality that negatively affects innovations adoption.

We created practical recommendations for optimizing adoption of innovations in quality management system, which include a set of organizational and psychological technologies, providing focus on achieving integrated results (quality) under negotiation, operation and development of its separate components.
