The Department successfully organized and conducted Inter-thSchool Mass Demonstration Competition on 5 February, 2011 on

the lines of Bharatiyam. A total of 10 schools of Greater Gwalior participated in the March Past as well as Mass Display Competition. A total of about 1500 schools children participated in Inter-School Mass Demonstration Competition. All the students of B.P.Ed- III, as a part of their curriculum visited the schools for 24 days and trained the children in different drills like Umbrella, Balls, Cubes, Maypole, Wands, Sache, Hoops, Half-Hoops, Lezim, Dumbbells, pom-poms, steps etc.

Literary Society organized the following program during the reporting year:-

Consultation, Evaluation & Training Course for Physical Education Teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan were conducted thrice as detailed below:-

Students of the Institute had an opportunity to have an interaction session with Mr. Pullela Gopichand and Miss Saina Nehwal on 14th July, 2010 in the Multipurpose Hall of the Institute.

Applications for Ph.D. entrance test were invited through notification on Institute website and Prospectus. 80 aspirants appeared in the test
