INTRODUCTION

You’re here because you want to learn how to make money online. Well, you’re not alone, most of us do, and I've spent years researching for different ways of making money in general.

And for the last year, my entire focus has been set on making money online. Why?

For a start I truly believe that possibilities are endless here online, we just have to know about them. Here's the good news for you. Soon, you'll be one of those who will know a great deal about those possibilities, too.

And another reason is: Don't you just hate spending 8 hours a day at work building someone else's dream instead of your own? Don't you wish to make your own schedule and work from home to spend time with your family whenever you decide and not when your boss does? Don't you want to be your own boss?

In this eBook, I'll cover 15 (my personal favorite) different ways, and I'm sure you'll want to try at least one of these. Now, I haven't discovered anything new. With a little research, you could find all of the information online somewhere.

The Internet is an enormous space, and I can say with no doubt that every information you need is out there somewhere. You just have to find it. The problem is that it is time consuming. We are busy people and it takes time and effort to gather all the useful information.

So this is my way of making things easier for you.

I've put together (in my opinion) the best and most legitimate options of making money online because they are mostly based on my own experience or experience of people I know and trust.

It's easy to get confused with all those scammers runnin' around online. It's really hard to tell who is trustworthy and who isn't. I used to be naive in the past; I remember when suddenly a message popped out on the screen that I've won a money prize because I am a 1000th customer and I was like what?? (with a huge smile on my face). I feel like such a fool right now.

But do note, it takes time and patience and consistency to make money online.

Shall we begin?

1. START A WEBSITE/BLOG

You didn't expect this one is coming, did you? What kind of a blogger would I be if I didn't put this in the first place of my list?

When I started focusing on how to make money online, the decision was pretty easy. I already had a dream of blogging because I love writing, sharing advice and solving problems. Not only mine but I love helping other people solve theirs.

The fact that I could also make money from a blog was just a huge bonus for me for it allows me to create a full time out of it and not worry about how to survive month after month. Plus my most important, romantic reason for starting this blog which I share in one of my posts.

Sidenote: Your website doesn't have to be a blog. It can be a website where you introduce yourself and your brand, your skills or products and make yourself visible to potential clients/employers.

There is nothing better than doing what you love + make money doing it!

I know, you can easily get overwhelmed when starting a blog or a website because there are so many new things to learn. If someone told me at the time how big of a learning curve it takes to be a blogger, I would be even more overwhelmed by the idea.

And many do become. And many don't even start. I believe it would be a huge mistake if you back out simply because you're scared.

Yes, it takes a lot of work. Yes, it takes time and effort. But it's totally worth it!

I say - Start Small - and just upgrade over time. I truly mean that - start small. I did. For instance, my first domain name was really nothing special, it was just a name Top Drawer Life Notes, I changed it after one month of purchasing it. I was too overwhelmed by picking a name that I eventually didn't want to lose my time and my energy with it anymore. So I just went with it because I wanted to start posting and designing a blog so bad.

My point is. It doesn't matter; you can always edit things later. Just start, ok?

Here are the four main steps of starting a blog:

Pick a blog name = domain name = brand

Just make sure it isn't taken yet. You can check for free domain names at GoDaddy as I did.

Register a domain name and hosting

My choice is Bluehost (I am not affiliate because I didn't ask them yet) because they do have the best offer in my opinion, great support and are super affordable. Enough said. More about this in my post. With Bluehost you also get a free domain name and free WordPress account, which I think is great by the way. If you ever want to monetize your blog, I strongly advice you to go with wordpress.org (self hosted blog). Blogger or Wordpress.com is not the best idea if you want to make money with it. Big difference! I'll cover that in a special post.

Choose a WordPress theme and start building

There are many free themes out there, and many go with a free theme at the beginning.I am sure not one of them. Why? Because I am really most certainly not a tech-savvy type of woman and with these free themes support can be really poor and I don't want to mess it up. I invested in this blog from the very beginning but that was just my choice.

I recommend you choose a paid theme; some are cheap and other not. I use Divi for instance and I am super satisfied with this theme. Designing a blog has never been more simplified than it is with Divi.

You. Literally. Build. Your. Site. Drag and drop. Top!

More details about Divi theme will be covered in one of my posts.

But if you're not quite ready to invest just yet, you can always go with a free theme and upgrade later after you learn more. There is, however, a slight chance you'll need to find someone to help you with tech-stuff.

Install plugins.

Plugins are there for you so you don't have to deal with any coding. It is very simple to install them, and I will publish a post with a list of most important plugins that every blogger should have.

There are three main ways of earning an income (passive income):

2. PROOFREADING/EDITING

If you are not so much into writing articles from scratch but do see yourself as a grammar expert, just this might be the job you're looking for.

If I were a native speaker, this would be something I would do to make additional money besides blogging.

Plenty of us needs a proofreader. I could use one for sure, and I am planning to hire a freelance editor to edit all of my existing and future posts. For now, I use Grammarly (That's been saving my non-native butt for the past few months.) It's awesome by the way because it corrects grammar errors, spelling and replaces overused words with better sounding ones.

However, as much as I love Grammarly, it can't replace a real editor who will transform your whole sentence to improve the text structure. Grammarly is great, and I recommend it to everyone, but I would be a liar if I said it is a 100% thing. Depends on what you want.

The average rate per page for proofreading is 35 cents, so your earnings depend on how efficiently you work. It’s not a great moneymaker for procrastinators! So basically you are paid about $17 an hour.

Proofreading or editing is a job you can find easily online, and it's a great way to make an extra income every month.

3. BECOME A FREELANCE WRITER

If you do want to write but don't quite feel like starting your own blog, you can simply write for other blogs or companies and get paid by the hour. If you have a good writing skill, I promise it will not stay unnoticed.

However, to get noticed be prepared to write a few articles for free to show them your skill first. If you expect to be successful in the long run. There are lots and lots of companies or blogs out there who are looking for a freelance writers, and they pay anywhere from $20 to $65/hr. Many successful freelancers can earn an average of 50 cents to a dollar per word.

Before you decide to start reaching out to all of these freelance writing companies, you need to have a web presence. You need a blog, or you could have an online portfolio. Even a LinkedIn profile works to get started. When you’re ready to start, here are 150 resources to help you write better, faster and more persuasively.

Now for what you’ve all been waiting for; once you’re ready to start making money, here are ten websites you can check first:

Listverse – Listverse pays $100 for each accepted post. The article must be a list, it must be at least 1,500 words and you must include at least 10 things. Other than that, you can get pretty creative with it.

TopTenz – TopTenz pays $50 for each accepted post. Again, the article has to be in a list format and it must be at least 1,500 words, with few exceptions. They post often so your chances of getting accepted are fairly high.

A List Apart – A List Apart pays $200 for each accepted post. They’re not first on the list, because they tend to publish less articles, which means you have a smaller chance of getting accepted. Same guidelines as above, 1,500 word minimum.

International Living – International Living pays $75 for each accepted post. They are mostly looking for travel experiences from countries you have visited. For this site, it’s more about your experience than your writing ability.

FundsforWriters – FundsforWriters pays $50 for each accepted post. They are looking for articles about writing and making money with it. They only accept articles between 500-600 words, but they want you to make each word count.

Uxbooth – Uxbooth pays $100 for each accepted post. They do tend to take four to eight weeks to accept and post articles, so don’t count on this being a quick money maker. They take so long, because they pair with editors to only publish amazing content.

iWriter – iWriter pays up to $15 for each accepted post. That may seem small, but they aren’t as strict as many of the others above and they also allow you to pick exactly what you write. You can write as many or as few articles as you want.

Textbroker – Textbroker pays up to five cents per word, if you’re a 5-star writer. You’ll start by submitting a short sample article and you will most likely start as a 3-star writer, but you can work your way up by writing more and writing great content.

Matador Network – Matador Network pays up to $60 for each accepted post, but standard pay is around $20-$25. They don’t really focus on a minimum word count, but they have a maximum count of 1,500 words.

The Penny Hoarder – The Penny Hoarder pays up to $800 (rarely), depending upon the number of page views you receive. The pay starts at $100 for 50,000 page views, so this isn’t a guaranteed paid article, but it can potentially be highly rewarding.

4. APPS AND WEBSITES THAT PAY FOR DIFFERENT TASKS

If you're looking to address some immediate financial needs, then the app economy is likely right for you. Thanks to the global sharing phenomenon, launched in part by our smartphones and ever-burgeoning global connectivity, you could easily opt for some quick active income by using well-known apps. From ride sharing to deliveries and even quick tasks, there's an app for that today, as the saying goes.

Drive for Uber or Lyft: If you're in a locale where you can find Uber or Lyft (or even one of the many competitors around the world such as China's Didi), you could easily make a respectable income. The hours are flexible and you can work as you see fit, making it perfect even if you currently have full-time employment but are looking to make some money on the side.

Deliver for Postmates: Apps like Postmates are a dime a dozen today. Still, Postmates is by far the most popular, and you don't even need a car in some locations to make money with this app. In some urban developments and major metropolises like Manhattan, a bike would suffice.

iBotta: Earn cash back rewards by purchasing featured products at major retailers. All you have to do is add rebates, go shopping, then snap a photo of your receipt to earn your cash back. Simple and effective. Plus this app has over 50,000 five-star reviews on the App Store.

Task Rabbit: Another simple and straightforward app for making a bit of side-hustle income is the Task Rabbit app. Tasks can be anything from simple repairs to more exhaustive undertakings. The app carefully vets each service provider to ensure the highest quality, and it's a great way to make some extra income on the side on your own terms.

Ebates: This app offers a simple way to make money online by buying whatever you're already buying and then getting a cash-back reward. With eBates, there are no scanning receipts. Simply click a link in the app and buy from the store. You'll automatically be credited your cash rewards upon purchase along with receiving an email confirmation.

Swagbucks: With Swagbucks, you can do a variety of things to make some extra cash. You can shop online, watch videos, answer surveys and surf the web. The app gives you both cash back and gift cards as a reward for your efforts. Its great for young people who are surfing the web most of the time anyway and have lots of free time.

Inbox Dollars: Another app you can use to make money online is Inbox Dollars, which pays you for watching television, taking surveys and shopping. There are cash offers here and it's relatively similar to some of the other apps in this arena. You get $5 just for signing up.

You may also want to check out GlobalTestMarket, E-Poll Surveys and Survey Club.

Project Payday – Project Payday is one of those sites that has testimonials of people who have earned thousands of dollars by getting paid to get trial offers. I’m not saying you’ll earn thousands, but it is legit and you can earn some extra cash. They assume that by paying you to do a free trial, you’ll either like the product and purchase it, or forget to cancel the trial and get charged for it. If you can keep track and cancel before you get charged (if you don’t want the product), then this is a great site for making some money.

User Testing – User Testing pays $10 a pop for testing websites. A test usually takes about 15-20 minutes. The purpose is for a website owner to watch someone, who is new to their site, try to navigate it. The value that the site owner gets by watching an actual user experience is worth a ton, but $10 isn’t a bad pay-out.

Fiverr – Fiverr is a great place to make a few bucks or spend a few bucks if you need some of the services people offer. Basically, everything is $5. You either pay $5 or charge $5. They call them “gigs.” You can offer your services however you choose. If you sell art and you’re fine selling pieces for $5 each, that’s a gig. If you’re a graphic designer and you want to offer your services for $10/hour, simply offer a 30-minute gig. If they need two hours of graphic design, they pay you $20, or $10/hour by buying four gigs.

IZEA – IZEA works in addition to a blog or on its own. You get paid to blog, tweet, take photos and take videos. The pay is mostly based on your following, so if you want to make money with your tweets, you’ll need to grow your Twitter following. Likewise, if you want to make money with blogs, you’ll need substantial blog traffic.

FusionCash is a site that pays you for doing a number of tasks, like watching videos, taking online surveys — even opening emails. You’re going to check some emails anyway, so why not turn it into a paid habit?

5. START YOUR OWN YOUTUBE CHANNEL

If you have an idea of what kind of channel would you like to have there is always a possibility your channel will take off eventually if you stay consistent and always looking for improvements. It only takes one video to go viral.

People love all kinds of videos - educational videos, funny videos, DIY videos, anything that is entertaining, interesting and creative. If you have something legitimate to share, share it. You never know where the road might take you. If you want to review products, go ahead. If you're a teacher and you want to teach your audience on youtube, that's great. Or you have any other skill, whether it is cooking or making people laugh. We can never have enough of laughter (and good food!).

There are countless YouTubers out there who earn a great deal of money out of advertisements, sponsored posts and even out of selling their own products. You can be that person. Start it as a hobby, just be consistent and patient.

The average revenue per 1,000 YouTube views is just over $6. But with enough videos for fans to scroll through, those views can add up over time.

As I mentioned, many YouTubers are worldwide known as PewDiePie, but my personal favorite is Peter McKinnon, a videographer, photographer, vlogger who managed to build his youtube channel from 0 to 1 million subscribers in 1 year only. ONE year! Why? Because he's good in what he does, simple as that.

How can you start a youtube channel and monetize it?

Make a youtube account (I'm sure you already have it).

Set up your Youtube Channel. (Time to be creative and find a name!)

Make videos and upload them to your library. Make sure they are of high-quality

and don't worry about the equipment, your smartphone will do the job just fine at

the beginning. Describe your content under the video in a readable and interesting

way.

Monetize your videos (create an Adsense account).

Make sure you don't use copyrighted music in your videos or other things that might hurt your channel. Sorry, but you won't be able to make money out of your videos if you sing Justin Bieber's or Beatles' songs in it even if you have millions of views. Just sayin'.

I know I say this all the time, but I will say it again - be consistent! You don't have to upload a new video every day but once a week should be just fine. Pick a day of the week, play with a name, for instance, Money Mondays or Photo Fridays. I believe some

Page 10: 15 AWESOME - Blooming Blogger · 15 AWESOME MAKE MONEY ONLINE IDEAS ... When I started focusing on how to make money online, the decision was pretty easy. I already had a dream of

of the mentioned already exists but that is not the point, just want you to give you an idea.

Share, share, share. If you have a facebook group or page that is even better, share your videos over there. Ask your friends to share them. Spread your word out on your personal Facebook account, on your Instagram account.

Create a shareable content so that others will do it for you. You can embed videos on your blog/website if you have one of these. Do everything you can to gain subscribers because in a certain point (like I always say) numbers may start to grow exponentially.

Last but most certainly not least - Start connecting with your audience. Reply to comments. Pay attention to what your audience wants to know. Make those who come to your site stay. Turn your visitors into subscribers.

I want to share a quick example of that:

Sometimes I come across a good quality content, and I see that youtube channel has very few subscribers. I don't care about the numbers, I care about the content so I hit subscribe. Then it happens that I leave a respectful comment - a powerful question regarding the content.

Please note that I always scroll through the comments before to make sure nobody else has asked the same question. And then nothing happens, no reply, nothing.

Not even in a month. Well, that's sad. I unsubscribe. There would probably be many more subscribers if that person knew how to connect with his audience. If you make one video per week, please take the time out of your busy schedule and reply to positive comments/ construcitve criticism/ questions.

6. TEACHING AN ONLINE COURSE

Have a skill to share? Teaching through Udemy or Skillshare could bring in big bucks.

Higher education might be super expensive, but many people will pay $50 or $100 (at least!) to learn something new from an expert.

You’ll have to invest your time planning your curriculum and recording the videos that will accompany your course. But a high-quality presentation will seem all the more valuable to your potential students.

7. WRITING E-BOOKS ON AMAZON

Reading eBooks is getting more and more popular every year among people. The more people buy and read eBooks, the more do authors sell those.

E-books represent about 20 percent of all book sales in the U.S. The good news is you don’t have to be a publisher with a loaded wallet to get in on the action.

As an internet entrepreneur, you can sell ebooks directly from your own website. You can sell your works or sell a public domain work. Simply upload it to your website (or seller account on Amazon) and start publicizing it on your social media platforms, on your email list, your blog, website, etc.

Some people are making a full-time income from selling short eBooks now and then. Sometimes shorter is better. If you have an idea of what people might want to know you can write a short guide on how to approach the problem and solve it. You might be surprised. Always expect the competition though but don't ever let it stop you. Competition is everywhere and always.

Love your competitor. For he is the one you learn most from.

- Just a random thought.

So don't worry if you don't have your website. You can go directly through Amazon’s

Kindle Direct Publishing to reach millions of people instantly. Of course, you are dealing with a lot of competition like I mentioned but I know authors that make over $40,000 a month with their Kindle books.

Right now I am working on a few eBooks myself. I'll let you know how it goes.

8. ONLINE POKER

Definitely not for everyone and most definitely not something I would do. But I do know there are ordinary people like me who are quite good at this.

One of my best friends, she started playing online poker as a student as a hobby and eventually started to earn a decent income out of it, even though she's no expert. This is why playing poker deserved to be a part of this list because it's possible to make more money by playing poker than by using apps for instance. I've seen it myself.

9. DROP SHIPPING

Drop shipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn't keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the merchant never sees or handles the product.

The biggest difference between dropshipping and the standard retail model is that the selling merchant doesn't stock or own inventory. Instead, the merchant purchases inventory as needed from a third party – usually a wholesaler or manufacturer – to fulfill orders.

PROS:

Less Capital Is Required – Probably the biggest advantage to drop shipping is that it's possible to launch an ecommerce store without having to invest thousands of dollars in inventory up front. Traditionally, retailers have had to tie up huge amounts of capital purchasing inventory.

With the dropshipping model, you don't have to purchase a product unless you already made the sale and have been paid by the customer. Without major up-front inventory investments, it's possible to start a successful dropshipping business with very little money.

Easy to Get Started – Running an ecommerce business is much easier when you don't have to deal with physical products. With drop shipping, you don't have to worry about:

- Managing or paying for a warehouse - Packing and shipping your orders - Tracking inventory for accounting reasons - Handling returns and inbound shipments - Continually ordering products and managing stock level

Low Overhead – Because you don't have to deal with purchasing inventory or managing a warehouse, your overhead expenses are quite low. In fact, many successful drop shipping businesses are run from a home office with a laptop for less than $100 per month. As you grow, these expenses will likely increase but will still be low compared to those of traditional brick-and-mortar businesses.

Flexible Location – A drop shipping business can be run from just about anywhere with an internet connection. As long as you can communicate with suppliers and customers easily, you can run and manage your business.

Wide Selection of Products – Because you don't have to pre-purchase the items you sell, you can offer an array of products to your potential customers. If suppliers stock an item, you can list if for sale on your website at no additional cost.

Easy to Scale – With a traditional business, if you receive three times as much business you'll usually need to do three times as much work. By leveraging drop shipping suppliers, most of the work to process additional orders will be borne by the suppliers, allowing you to expand with fewer growing pains and less incremental work. Sales

Page 13: 15 AWESOME - Blooming Blogger · 15 AWESOME MAKE MONEY ONLINE IDEAS ... When I started focusing on how to make money online, the decision was pretty easy. I already had a dream of

growth will always bring additional work – especially related to customer service – but business that utilize drop shipping scale particularly well relative to traditional ecommerce businesses.

All these benefits make drop shipping a very attractive model to both beginning and established merchants. Unfortunately, dropshipping isn't all roses and rainbows. All this convenience and flexibility comes at a price.

CONS

Low Margins – Low margins are the biggest disadvantage to operating in a highly competitive dropshipping niche. Because it's so easy to get started – and the overhead costs are so minimal – many merchants will set up shop and sell items at rock-bottom prices in an attempt to grow revenue. They've invested so little in getting the business started so they can afford to operate on minuscule margins.

True, these merchants often have low-quality websites and poor (if any) customer service. But that won't stop customers from comparing their prices to yours. This increase in cutthroat competition will quickly destroy the profit margin in a niche. Fortunately, you can do a lot to mitigate this problem by selecting a niche that's well suited for dropshipping. We'll discuss this more in Chapter 4.

Inventory Issues – If you stock all your own items, it's relatively simple to keep track of which items are in and out of stock. But when you're sourcing from multiple warehouses, which are also fulfilling orders for other merchants, inventory changes on a daily basis. While there are ways you can better sync your store's inventory with your suppliers', these solutions don't always work seamlessly, and suppliers don't always support the technology required.

Shipping Complexities – If you work with multiple suppliers – as most drop shippers do – the products on your website will be sourced through a number of different drop shippers. This complicates your shipping costs.

Let's say a customer places an order for three items, all of which are available only from separate suppliers. You'll incur three separate shipping charges for sending each item to the customer, but it's probably not wise to pass this charge along to the customer, as they'll think you're grossly overcharging for shipping! And even if you did want to pass these charges along, automating these calculations can be difficult.

Supplier Errors – Have you ever been blamed for something that wasn't your fault, but you had to accept responsibility for the mistake anyway?

Even the best drop shipping suppliers make mistakes fulfilling orders – mistakes for which you have to take responsibility and apologize. And mediocre and low-quality suppliers will cause endless frustration with missing items, botched shipments and low-quality packing, which can damage your business's reputation.

It isn't a perfect business, and it can come with a bit of stress, but in the end it is all about how you handle it. It's your call, after all.

11. TRADING

Again, it is something I tried a few years back, and I think it has potential. However, you need to be the type of a person for it. It's not for me, and I'll be completely honest, it can be a risky business... if you don't know what you are doing.

When you start trading, join a group of people who already make this work for them. Learn from them. Let them mentor you. Take your time to gain the knowledge and until then trade with your demo account.

However, people are making money out of it. The same friend I mentioned in the poker section is currently all into trading (Forex trading). She has put aside all of her other business projects to focus on trading alone.

But she did take her time to learn from others first, tried successful strategies, and now started earning a small income.

It didn't make her rich (yet). She took the risk of leaving her 9 to 5 job to focus on trading (I would never take that risk). She is quite a gambler; I give her that. Her current focus are cryptocurrencies.

12. SELL YOUR OWN STUFF

I know this isn't a typical 'make money online' thing but it's certainly one of the easiest and fastest options especially if you need money asap, so consider it.

Three months ago I sold a really old smartphone for $100 in just a day over facebook marketplace. My boyfriend also sold his old smartphone and one computer component ($200 altogether). Next month we sold an old guitar ($50), my 15 years old workout machine in just a day ($60). Now we are selling old video games and I already gathered a few boxes of clothes we don't need. We expect to make additional $300.

Not bad right? Just a few clicks and we have more room in our apartment. And more cash. And more space so we can buy new stuff. Wink wink (just kidding, I'm all about minimalism, I don't need more stuff)

What should you you take care of before and when selling?

Get a PayPal account. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you’ll want to get one if

you’re doing business online. It’s the standard in online business for receiving

payment and paying others.

Take good pictures. Some of the options below don’t require you to actually take the picture and sell the product, but for the ones that do, make sure you take a clear picture that makes your product stand out from the others. If you’re going to be taking a lot of pictures, set up a small “studio-like” area in your home with a backdrop and proper lighting to really make your pictures come across as professional. And of course, you’ll want a good camera too.

Be honest. If you’re selling used items, be honest about every dent, scratch, blemish, etc.. This will reduce many issues you could run into and keep your reviews positive.

Do good business. Plain and simple. Whether you’re selling on a small site or opening an online store, your customer service matters. You’ll want to get those positive reviews and make a good name for yourself. Respond to questions, concerns and complaints. Offer a guarantee if available.

How and Where can you sell stuff?

Amazon – Have you heard of FBA? It stands for “Fulfilled by Amazon” and it’s getting pretty popular. Basically, you buy products (in bulk is best) and ship them to Amazon for them to store. When your products sell, Amazon packs them up, ships them out and sends you the money (after taking their cut). There are people making a full-time living from FBA, while others just do it for some extra money.

CraigsList – Some things don’t ship very well. Other things may make you feel uncomfortable to sell to someone across the country. Anytime you’re selling a large item or something you just don’t want to ship, Craigslist is a great place to go. It’s simple to list your item (again, take good pictures!). If you don’t like the idea of putting your phone number out there, the interested individual can send you a message to your inbox without even getting your email address.

eBay – Of course you can’t read an article about making money online that doesn’t mention eBay. You can start an eBay store and get serious about it or you can just sell some stuff to declutter your home. Either way, I’ve made my fair share from selling on eBay and it’s still a popular way to earn money. If you decide to start an actual eBay store, you’ll want to find a drop-ship business like Doba that will store and ship items straight to your customers so you don’t have to deal with an inventory.

Etsy – If you like to create arts and crafts, you can sell them on Etsy. It’s completely free to open an Etsy store. You simply sign up, post pictures of your creations and starting selling. You can choose your payment option, but PayPal is generally the easiest. Etsy makes it easy to sell and keep track of your inventory. There is a small listing fee and they take 3.5% of every sale you make.

Facebook – Facebook swap shops are great for selling things locally. It’s like CraigsList, but a little easier. You simply search for swap shops in your area and ask to join the group. Once you’re in, take a picture of the item, write a quick description with the price and post it. It doesn’t get much easier than that. You can generally expect to get about what you would get at a yard sale, maybe a little more.

How To Tutor Online?

Today’s online tutoring classrooms have all the tools required, which facilitates the 'one-to-one', or the 'one-to-many' tutoring session. In these sessions, you can do the following:

Start a face-to-face video conferencing.

Speak to each other with high-quality and excellent voice.

Write, type, erase and draw in distinctive colors on digital advanced whiteboard.

Text chat via instant messaging.

Upload and share files.

Alter message progressively with other person seeing what you are doing.

Access the session from all devices.

Most tutoring organizations give a demo link to try whiteboard link. It is advisable that you go through all the features of the whiteboard in detail, before taking on your first tutoring session.

How To Attract More Students?

Once your online tutor profile is endorsed, and you have few experience of couple of online sessions, you have to do the following things keeping in mind to attract more students to book more sessions with you:

Update your profile.

Then, consider what your potential clients i.e, students want to hear from you. Include video message in your profile. This adds far more value than simple and basic content profile.

Ask your students to give you ratings and reviews.

Ratings and reviews should be apparent on your tutoring profile. Most ideal way would be to ask your students to rate you just after the session. The more and better reviews and ratings you have, the better are your chances to appear on the first page.

14. WORK-AT-HOME COMPANIES

Finally, some companies will hire you to work from the comfort of your own home. If you’re interested in working for someone else, while still making your own schedule and deciding where to work from, here are a few companies that will let you do just that:

CrowdSource – CrowdSource offers many types of jobs from “microtask” jobs to larger writing and editing jobs. You decide how much you work and you can do most of it right at your computer.

Demand Studios – Demand Studios is hiring all kinds of creative professionals, from writer to filmmakers. The pay isn’t amazing, but it’s competitive for a work-at-home job.

Fast Chart – Fast Chart allows you to work from home as a medical transcriptionist. There are some requirments and qualifications listed on the page, but if you meet them, you’ll make competitive pay for the industry. You’ll also be able to set your own schedule since you’ll be working from home.

Leap Force – Leap Force is one way that Google rates websites for search engine ranking. If you’re hired, you make decent money (usually over $11/hour), you set your own schedule and it can be pretty fun to view and rank websites.

Liveops – Liveops is a call center that allows you to work from home. Once your set up to take the calls, you can begin making a weekly schedule and working from home. The pay is generally close to $10/hour, but you can earn more with commissions.

SpeakWrite – SpeakWrite will pay you up to $15/hour to transcribe information. You set your own schedule and work from home.

15. GAME APPS (TO WIN SOME MONEY)

I recently downloaded an app that its called HQ Trivia. You can play twice a day and have a chance of winning each time. People earn up to $100 per week. What can I say, it's fun and you learn a lot throughout the quiz. But you have to be smart.

“Quiz Daddy” Scott Rogowski is the game’s main host. He asks 12 questions. You’ve got three multiple-choice options and 10 seconds to answer. If you get all 12 questions correct, you’ll split the grand prize (around $5,000 lately, though up to $25,000 on randomly chosen special occasions) amongst the other winners.

At the time we wrote this, the all-time leader had banked $25,000.

The HQ Trivia app is available for iPhones and now Androids.

Pro tip: Share your personalized referral code with friends and family to get an extra life. Trust me, you’ll want it.

I also recommend the Lucky Day app.

You get a number of daily scratchers which bring you in average $25 monthly (it takes about 10 minutes per day to finish all scratchers) + you have a chance of winning a lottery.

I am aware that the chances of winning are extremely small but I like these scratchers (they're addictive, I know) and I don't mind getting extra $25 a month that I can directly transfer to my PayPal account. By playing (and scratching) you also collect chips that you can trade for gift cards after you reach a certain number of them.

You see? There are lots of options in this online ocean. I encourage you to try at least one of them before deciding that this isn't a list you've hoped for.

However, if you notice something valuable is missing from my list or you're not satisfied with making online money ideas I selected for you, send me an email and let me know about it. If you have any more suggestions on how to make money online, let me know. I'll check it out and possibly update this list if I find it helpful.

Let me know if you've tried anything from the list. And have fun while making money!
