Embarkation and Disembarkation Procedure

EMBARKATION PROCEDURE

Upon arrival at Changi Airport, locate the teacher-in-charge

You are allowed only ONE suitcase (not exceeding 20kg) that you can check in and ONE piece of hand luggage (not exceeding 7kg)

Both suitcase and hand luggage must have identification tags

Boarding pass will be given to you to check-in your luggage. Hold on to personal hand luggage

Move and queue with the teacher-in-charge

On the aircraft, students will sit in their assigned seats.

DISEMBARKATION PROCEDURE

Upon landing, students will

move orderly for immigration clearance

After clearing immigration, please make sure there is a date STAMP (15 Mar 2019) in your passport

Account for all pieces of luggage before moving out of the airport

Clearing Immigration

• Tour Leader (GTE) will clear the immigration first.

• All groups are to queue orderly with the teacher IC of group. If a student has to go into the immigration room, teacher IC is to go in together with her and the rest of the group will tag along with the next group

• Mrs Tan (VP) will be last to clear the immigration after seeing everyone has cleared customs.

• Parents are strongly discouraged to contact their child or visit them in the hotel room at any time of the trip (including after daily debrief by school). Reason: allow pupils to focus on their learning journey and learn independence

• All rooms will have WIFI access, students are able to whatsapp their parents before lights off every night

• Mr Zanizam will holding onto the school phone in case parents need to contact us urgently for emergency (9060 5967)



Pupils’ Use of Handphones

• Students’ hand phones are to be kept properly

• Should only be used in the hotel room after night debriefs to send a text message to parents.

• Be aware of the costs involved – switch off DATAPLAN & disable “Roaming”

Handphones will be confiscated and kept if misused !
