Illegal Immigration: Border Guards, Fences, Drones No Need?
TALKING POINTS1. Illegal immigration already
has controlling legislation. Congress refuses to fund its enforcement.
2. Conservatives insist there is a Liberal Media despite obvious evidence to the contrary.
3. Vote by Mail requests ex-pire every four years. Make sure yours is still valid.
4. Vote Smart or Vote Stupid Theres a great free web-site for your self-defense.
5. Watch the debates even if it hurts. See page 7 for their schedule.

The Immigration Reform and Control
Act of 1986
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) re-quired employers to verify that all newly hired employees pres-ent facially valid documen-tation verifying the employees identity and legal authorization to accept employment in the United States.
Verification Within three days of hiring a new employee, the employer must complete an Employment Eligibility Verifica-tion Form, commonly referred to as an I-9 form. This requires examining acceptable forms of
the employees documentation to confirm his or her citizenship or eligibility to work in the Unit-ed States.
Foreign citizens come to the United States to find a better life. As long as we employ people who wish to work but who dont have a legal right to do so, our borders will be porous. If work were not available, there would be no incentive for citizens of other countries to risk life and limb to enter a country where there is no opportunity to make a living. ed.

Reince Priebus (and apparently many others) still thinks there's a liberal media.
While I share Reince's frustration with the media, as a liberal, I'd like to go on record and state that the media isn't focusing on issues I care about. They seem to be far more focused on entertainment and making money.
Don't believe me?
What Everyone Would Know If you know anyone who still believes in a "liberal media", here's 15 things everyone would know if there really were a "liberal media" (inspired by Jeff Bezos' purchase of The Washington Post):
Things 1 - 3.1. Where the jobs went.
Outsourcing (or offshoring) is a bigger con-tributor to unemployment in the U.S. than la-ziness.
Since 2000, U.S. multinationals have cut 2.9 million jobs here while increasing employ-ment overseas by 2.4 million. This is likely just the tip of the iceberg as multinational cor-porations account for only about 20% of the labor force.
When was the last time you saw a front-page headline about outsourcing?Source: Wall Street Journal via Think Progress.
2. Upward wealth redistribution and/or inequality.
In 2010, 20% of the people held approximately 88% of
the net worth in the U.S. the top 1% alone held 35% of all net worth. the bottom 80% of people held only 12% of net
worth. In 1983, the bottom 80% held 18% of net worth.
Source: Occupy Posters
These statistics are not Democrat or Republican. They are widely available to reporters. Why aren't they discussed in the "liberal" media?3. ALEC.
If there was a corporate organization that drafted laws and then passed them on to legislators to implement, wouldn't you think the "liberal" media would report on them? The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is such an organization. Need legislation drafted? No need to go through a lobbyist to reach state legislatures anymore. Just contact ALEC. Among other things, ALEC is responsible for:
Stand Your Ground laws Voter ID laws Right to Work laws Privatizing schools Health savings account bills which benefit
health care companies Tobacco industry legislation
Many legislators dont even change the proposals handed to them by this group of corporations. They simply take the corporate bills and bring them to the legislative floor. This is the primary reason for so much similar bad legislation in different states.
Hello ... "liberal media" ... over here!!! ###

Vote-by-Mail Request FormAt the bottom of the page is a sample Vote-by-Mail Request Form (aka Absentee Ballot Request Form). If you think you have a Request Form on file, its important to verify that you really do have one on file.
Do You Need To Update? Requests expire after four years, and if you didnt request one in the last four years, you must update your request. The easiest way to do that is to phone the Super-visor of Elections office at 561-656-6200 and ask to update. It takes only three minutes! You only need your name and birthdate (You dont have to fill out any forms.. ###
Voter Information CardOn the right is a sample Voter Information Card. Do You Know Your Current Voting Location? The most important information on the card is your polling place (if you choose not to vote in your pajamas). Voting locations (polling places) may change every ten years after a census when redistricting occurs. Do You Know Florida Will Be Redistricted Again in 2016? Because of illegal redistricting by the legislature after the 2010 census, a current
lawsuit is requiring a more fair (and constitutional) apportionment of districts. That means that your polling place (red box) could very well be different by August or November 2016. See page 4 to find out how to stay informed. ###

tigated peaked at 3,000 in fiscal year 2012, from 250 in 2007. Penalties against employers have also skyrocketed in recent years. The total number of fines imposed on companies grew from $1 mil-lion in 2009 to a staggering $13 million in 2011. Various states have also enacted legislation that imposes egregious sanctions and that can result in suspension of business licenses (though enforce-ment at the state level has not been heavily exer-cised yet). These figures demonstrate the Obama administrations continued dedication to an ag-gressive immigration enforcement policy and to the critical need for businesses to ensure careful compliance. Theres No Lack Of
Experts In Republican
Politics In their world, you dont need fancy diplomas or peer-reviewed studies, so-called credentials of any sort; they graduated from Heart State with a Masters from the University of Gut.
Ben Carson, for example, studied medicine at Yale, but they prob-ably dont offer classes on Egyptian grain silos, the mysterious properties of gravity, or just how easy it is to fly a plane into a building. He figured that stuff out on his own.
The GOP are, in fact, experts in their given field: Ignorance. Brad Woodhouse, Americans United for Change ###
