DAY 03 : ROME (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Mass at Church. Proceed tour and visit-

St John Lateran Church the basilica of Saint John Lateran was built under

pope Melchiade (311-314), it’s the most ancient church in the world. Since the pope is also the bishop of Rome, Saint John in Lateran – being seat of the bishop’s residence – is also Rome’s Cathedral.

Scala Santa – The Holy Stairs, a chapel built around the great relic of the steps to Pontius Pilate's palace that Jesus once climbed to meet his fate. This "Holy Staircase" consists of 28 steps of Tyrian marble that legend holds were the actual staircase of Pilate's house, which Jesus descended after being condemned.

Continue tour visit to Basilica Di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme:-

Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme – one of the seven pilgrimage Churches in the Eternal City. It is known visit for its extraordinary collection of relics from the Holyland. Its full-sized replica of the Shroud of Turin, the shrine of a young girl who is being considered for sainthood, and its connections with Constantine and St. Helen.

Lunch at local restaurant. Visit to St Mary Major’s Basilica & photo stop at Colosseum Mass at Church.

St. Mary Major’s Basilica – The Basilica of St. Mary Major is also known in

Italian as the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore. It is the largest Roman Catholic Marian Church in Rome. Basilica of St. Mary Major gave justice to its name because of its grandeur, not only in size but also regarding its art and architecture.

Colosseum (outside view only) - It was used for gladiator fights and hunting simulations involving ferocious and exotic animals. The capacity is estimated 70.000 people; the shows became occasions to impress and control the people through an unforeseen display of astonishing special effects. It may be two thousand years old but the Colosseum is still the symbol of the eternal city, every year drawing thousands of visitors, meaning long queues and an endless wait.

Trevi Fountain - Is one of the top attractions in Rome and one of the most famous fountains in the world. The Trevi Fountain is situated at the end of the Aqua Virgo, an aqueduct constructed in 19 BC by Agrippa, the son-in-law of Emperor Octavian Augustus. The aqueduct brings water all the way from the Salone Springs approximately 21 kilometers (13 miles) from Rome.

DAY 04: ROME (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel. Proceed for Papal Audience - giving pilgrims and visitors the chance to "see the Pope" and receive the Papal

Blessing or Apostolic Blessing from the successor of The Apostle Peter during their visit.

**Papal audience is subject to Pope Francis’s schedule and availability**

Lunch at local restaurant. Mass at Church.

Vatican Museum - contain masterpieces of painting, sculpture and other works of art collected by the popes through the centuries. The Museums include several monumental works of art and most important masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world.

Sistine Chapel - the official residence of the Pope, in Vatican City. Since Pope Sixtus IV, the chapel has served as a place of both religious and functionary papal activity. Today it is the site of the Papal conclave, the process by which a new pope is selected. The fame of the Sistine Chapel lies mainly in the frescos that decorate the interior, and most particularly the Sistine Chapel ceiling and The Last Judgment by Michelangelo.

St Peter’s Basilica – is a major basilica in Vatican City. St. Peter's was until recently the largest church ever built and it remains one of the holiest sites in Christendom. It stands on the traditional site where Peter (considered the first pope) was crucified and buried. St. Peter's tomb is under the main altar and many other popes are buried in the basilica as well.

Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer back to hotel & overnight in Rome.

DAY 05: ROME – TOULOUSE – LOURDES (B/x/D)

Early breakfast in the hotel. Check out and transfer to Airport for flight to Toulouse (flight depart at 1125hrs). Upon arrival in Toulouse, transfer to Lourdes by coach. (Approx. 180km – 2hours 30mins drive.) Arrive Lourdes, check into Hotel. Mass at Church. After dinner, proceed for Candle light procession.

When the Virgin appeared to Bernadette Soubirous at the

Massabielle Cave, she made three requests: drink and wash in the spring, have them build a chapel here, and invite people to come in Candlelight procession. Daily processions take place at about 9:00 PM, to join the Torchlight Marian Procession.

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 06: LOURDES – VISIT THE SHRINE (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel. Proceed to visit The Shrine. In 1858, 14 year old Bernadette Soubirous declared

that the Virgin Mary had appeared to her several times in the Cave of Massabielle and had said to her in the local patois, “I am the Immaculate Conception”.

Mass at Church.

Cave of Massabielle – is the site of St. Bernadette's visions of the Virgin Mary in 1858. The Blessed Virgin is said to have pointed out a Previously undiscovered spring in the grotto and instructed Bernadette to drink from it.

The BATH – proceed for the miraculous Bath experience. "Go and drink at the spring and wash yourself there!” these words of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette during one of the Apparitions inspired the creation of the Baths near the Grotto in which the pilgrims are immersed.

Walking tour “In the Footsteps of Bernadette”. Visit the Cachot (former jail cell that once served as the Soubirous family’s home); the parish church and the Boly Mill.

(Optional) In the evening (5.00pm), participate in the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and the Blessing of the Sick (subject to seasonal schedules).

Dinner & Proceed for Candle Light procession. Overnight in Lourdes.

DAY 07: LOURDES – FULL DAY (B/x/D)

Breakfast in the hotel. MASS at church Station of the cross & Confession. Proceed for the miraculous Bath experience, pray the rosary at Grotto or attend many different masses

“according to the schedule” After dinner, proceed for Candle light procession. Overnight.

DAY 08: LOURDES – LOYOLA - BURGOS (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out and proceed to Burgos. (238km – 2hrs 44Min), en route stop in Loyola, the birthplace of St. Ignatius

of Loyola. Mass at Church. In Loyola, visit the Sanctuary of St Ignatius, founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).

Sanctuary of St Ignatius - is a monumental and religious complex built

around the birthplace of St Ignatius of Loyola. After he died his birthplace became a place of veneration. In the seventeenth century, the house where he was born was given to the Society of Jesus.

Settle into your hotel & dinner Overnight.

DAY 09: BURGOS – AVILA – SALAMANACA (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the Hotel. Mass at Church. Check out and Continue to Avila (262 Km/3hrs) Upon arrival, start the tour:

Avila – Hometown of St Theresa of Avila. One of the finest remnants of

Europe’s medieval era, the walled town of Avila was sacred to an ancient Celtiberian culture long before the arrival of the Romans and the Christians.

The Cathedral of Avila - is a strong, fortress-like cathedral adjoining the famous medieval walls of Ávila. Dedicated to San Salvador, Avila Cathedral is truly a cathedral-castle, with battlements and sentry walks incorporated into the structure. It's not just for looks, either - in the 12th century, Bishop Sancho protected the young Alfonso IX until he became king.

Visit the current church in the center of town, begun 1091 and completed in the 13th century, is where the mystic St Theresa (1515-1582) had frequent visions and ecstatic experiences.

Continue journey to Salamanca. (100km – 1hr 30mins.)

Salamanca - It lies on a plateau by the Tormes River, crossed by a bridge 500ft long built on 26 arches. The city has been declared a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO.

Arrive proceed to check in. Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 10: SALAMANACA - FATIMA (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the Hotel. Check out and start the tour to visit: Mass at Church

Old Cathedral of Salamanca - Unique façade of this building which

was to become the one of Europe's main temples of knowledge and scientific research, and the embroin of one of Europe's first universities.

After lunch continue drive to Fatima. (390k– 5hours) Arrive, check in to hotel. After dinner join in the Evening Rosary and Candlelight procession. Overnight stay.

DAY 11: FATIMA – VISIT OF THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Mass at Church. Visit the Tombs of St. Francisco and St. Jacinto; the Aljustrel where the children lived; and the Valinhos where

Our Lady appeared after the children’s return from prison.

Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima – is one of most famous Marian shrines in the world. Some four million people visit Fatima each year, drawn by apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by three local shepherd children in 1917.

Tombs of St. Francisco & St. Jacinto - Her relics and those of Francisco lie in the Basilica at Fatima, with the simple inscription: “Here lie the mortal remains of Francisco and Jacinta to whom Our Lady appeared.” Jacinta and her brother Francisco were beatified declared ‘Blessed’, by Pope John Paul II on 13th May 2000 at Fatima.

DAY 12: FATIMA – SANTAREM – LISBON CITY (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Mass at Church. Check out and short drive to Santarem. Short drive to Santarem and proceed sightseeing.

Church of St Stephen, Santarem - is home to a 13th-century

Eucharistic miracle. The shrine is among the most famous of its kind and is visited by thousands of pilgrims. The main attraction of the Church of the Holy Miracle is, of course, the Eucharistic Miracle of Santarem. The host is enshrined in its miraculous crystal pyx in a silver monstrance and placed on display atop a tabernacle.

Lunch & continue drive to Lisbon. Visit the Gothic monastery of St Jeronimo, St Anthony Church, Lisbon Cathedral & Belem

Tower.

Gothic Monastery of St Jeronimo – It is the most impressive symbol of Portugal's power and wealth during the Age of Discovery. King Manuel I built it in 1502, where Vasco da Gama and his crew spent their last night in Portugal in prayer before leaving for India. It was built to commemorate Vasco Da Gama's voyage and to give thanks to the Virgin Mary for its success. Vasco da Gama's tomb was placed inside by the entrance.

Santo Antonio Church – Was built on the site of where the saint was born in 1195. On June 13, now his feast day, he died at the Poor Clare convent in Arcella at the young age of 36. His body was buried in a chapel, which is now enclosed by the Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua. In 1263, when his relics were transferred to the Basilica, his tongue was found to be still fresh and red in color.

The Lisbon Cathedral often called simple the Sé, is a Roman Catholic church located in Lisbon, Portugal. The oldest church in the city is the see of the Archdiocese of Lisbon. Since the beginning of the construction of the cathedral, in the year 1147, the building has been modified several times and survived many earthquakes. It is nowadays a mix of different architectural styles. It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.

Belem Tower – Built in 1515 as a fortress to guard the Entrance to Lisbon’s

harbor, the Belem Tower was the starting point for many of the voyages of discovery, and for the sailors it was the last sight of their homeland.

Transfer to hotel for check in Dinner and overnight in Lisbon.

DAY 13: LISBON – KUALA LUMPUR (B)

After breakfast, free at own activity. Check out and proceed for Mass at Church. Transfer to Lisbon airport for flight departure back to Malaysia via Dubai (Transit).

Arrive Kuala Lumpur with beautiful memories of your pilgrimage.
