New Zealand and (hereinater reerred to as Taylors College) to enrol in theprogramme as nominated on the Application or Admission. I agree to pay to
Taylors College the annual tuition ees in accordance with the payment terms
detailed on the website: taylorscollege.ac.nz.
I urther agree to pay all additional course ees and such other charges as
may become payable to Taylors College during the period o my enrolment,
within 14 days o the issue o an account by Taylors College or such ees.
Taylors College agrees to provide tuition to me in all subjects o the Taylors
Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY), Taylors Certicate in Pre-Foundation
Studies and Taylors English Language Preparation, conditional upon my
working regularly and systematically through those subjects applicable
to my enrolment in accordance with instructions and provided all ees owing
are paid on the due dates.

1. Taylors College agrees to reund within 30 days and without deduction,
all ees paid where the student produces certied evidence that the
application made by the student or a student visa has been rejected by
the New Zealand immigration authorities.
2. Reunds Prior to Commencement o TAFY: Taylors College agrees to
reund within 30 days ees paid by or on behal o the student, less the
Enrolment Fee.
3. Reunds ater the commencement o a course:
Taylors College agrees to reund within 30 days o the receipt o written
notice o cancellation by the student (or parent or guardian i the student
is less than 18 years o age) ees paid on or behal o the student less
the amounts to be retained as detailed below:
(a) For courses exceeding 3 months duration:
> I written notice o cancellation is received by the 10th day o the
course, Taylors College will be entitled to retain up to 25% o
total ees paid based on actual expenses incurred.
> I written notice o cancellation is received later than the 10th day
o the course, there will be no reund o any monies paid.
(b) For courses o 1 to 34 days duration:
> I written notice o cancellation is received by the 2nd day o the
course Taylors College will retain 50% o total ees paid.
> I written notice o cancellation is received later than the 2nd day
o the course, there will be no reund o any monies paid.
(c) For courses o 35 days to 3 months duration:
> I written notice o cancellation is received by the 5th day o the
course Taylors College will retain 25% o total ees paid.
> I written notice o cancellation is received later than the 5th day
o the course, there will be no reund o any monies paid.
4. Cancellation o Enrolment by Taylors College:
The College may cancel a students enrolment should the student breach
any o the colleges rules or i his/her behaviour is deemed unacceptable
by the College:
(a) For courses exceeding 3 months duration:
> I a students enrolment is cancelled by the 10th day o the
course, Taylors College will be entitled to retain up to 25%

o TAFY, Embassy CES cancellation and reund policy will be
applied to the Embassy CES course.

a) I the student cancels the accommodation booking less than seven days
beore arrival the Accommodation/Homestay Placement Fee (i applicable)
plus a cancellation ee equivalent to one week o accommodation will
be charged
b) I the student cancels the accommodation ater arrival, our weeks prior
written notice o cancellation is required; any accommodation ees paid in
excess o the notice period will be reunded less a 10% cancellation ee.
c) In the unlikely event o the school closing prior to the conclusion o
courses, school ees will be reunded on a pro-rata basis by the Trustee.

a student arrives at the airport, the Airport Pick Up service provider cannot be
located, the student should contact the emergency telephone number.
In such circumstances, the College agrees that i the student has advised our
emergency contact that they have not been met at the Airport, and alternativearrangements are not made, then a ull reund o this service ee will apply.

The student (and, where applicable, his or her parent or guardian):
(i) agrees that the students photographs, videos, artwork or other works,
as well as recorded or written testimonials and details o the students
achievements (Student Images and Testimonials) may be used by
Study Group, or by a third party agent o Study Group, worldwide or
promotional purposes including in its printed and online marketing
materials and on any social media network without urther consent or
notication; and
(ii) gives consent to Study Group storing, or transerring across
international borders, copies o the Student Images and Testimonials
or such purposes.

Payments made by credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express)
will attract a 2% surcharge. This surcharge will be waived i all ees are paid

In the event o a dispute between an individual student and Taylors College,
internal procedures are in place to acilitate the resolution o the dispute. A
summary o these procedures ollows.
1. Code o conduct, attendance and discipline
Students are expected to abide by the terms and conditions o
enrolment and the published rules and code o conduct o Taylors
College. Disciplinary procedures will be applied in the event o a breach
o these rules. All sta are expected to apply Taylors Colleges policy
and rules airly and without avour, but i a student considers that this
has not occurred, the student may reer the matter to a senior sta
member. I dissatised with the decision, the student may reer the
matter to the Principal or determination. Independent external mediation
may also be sought i the matter cannot be resolved within the school.
2. Service and academic programme
In the event o a student complaint concerning the quality o the service
or teaching provided by the school, the student will report the matter
to a person in a position o authority within the school. The complaint
may either be dealt with by that person, or reerred to the Principal or
resolution. The Principal will coner with the parties in dispute, and the
decision o the Principal will be nal. This decision will be conveyed
in writing to the parties. I the student remains dissatised with the
outcome, he/she may seek independent external mediation.
3. Contractual and fnancial issues
Matters relating to the interpretation o the application, or the payment
or reund o money, are stated clearly in the brochure. Any queriesrelating to course ees and other charges payable to Taylors College
(or reunds) will initially be dealt with by the Finance and Administration
sta. I the student is dissatised with the decision, the matter will
be reerred to the Finance Director o Study Group or determination.
I either the action taken or the outcome does not satisy the student,
he/she may write to the Managing Director, who will in turn convey a
decision in writing to the student. I the student remains dissatisedwith the outcome, he/she may seek independent external mediation.
4. The Code o Practice or Pastoral Care o International Students
Taylors College has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code o
Practice or the Pastoral Care o International Students published by the
Minister o Education. Copies o the Code are available on request rom
this institution or rom the New Zealand Ministry o Education website
at: minedu.govt.nz/goto/international.
5. Health and travel insurance
Most international students are not entitled to publicly unded health
services while in New Zealand. I a student receives medical treatment
during his/her stay, he/she may be liable or the ull costs o the treatment.

The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance orall New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand,
but students may still be liable or all other medical and related costs.

International students must have appropriate and current medical and
travel insurance while studying in New Zealand.
6. Immigration
Full details o visa and permit requirements, advice on rights to
employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting requirements
