NOTICE OF PARISH VOTE
REVOCATION OF THE ST. PAUL’S TRUST
Notice is hereby given that a Parish vote will be held after each Mass on Saturday, June 16, 2018 and Sunday, June 17, 2018 to vote on the revocation of the St. Paul’s Trust. An affirmative vote of 51% of those qualified to vote and voting at each Mass is required to approve revocation of the St. Paul’s Trust. If revocation is approved, then all assets of the St. Paul’s Trust will be transferred to the general fund of St. Paul’s Parish. To be a qualified voter you must: (1) be at least eighteen years of age; and (2) have attended Mass at St. Paul’s Parish once per weekend for at least fifty percent of the weekends over the past year (twenty-seven times over the past year). This notice will be published until the vote, resulting in publication for more than two weeks prior to the vote. Please contact Fr. Basil if you have any questions about whether you qualify to vote.

Por la presente se da aviso de que se realizará una votación en la Parroquia después de cada Misa el sábado 16 de junio de 2018 y el domingo 17 de junio de 2018 para votar sobre la revocación de la Fundación de San Pablo. Se requiere un voto afirmativo del 51% de los calificados para votar y votar en cada misa para aprobar la revocación del St. Paul's Trust. Si se aprueba la revocación, todos los activos de St. Paul's Trust se transferirán al fondo general de St. Paul's Parish. Para ser un votante calificado debe: (1) tener al menos dieciocho años de edad; y (2) han asistido a misa en St. Paul's Parish una vez por fin durante al menos el cincuenta por ciento de los fines de semana del año pasado (veintisiete veces durante el año pasado). From the bottom of my heart…. I want to thank those who helped with the parish cleanup last Saturday. I hesitate to add names for fear I might forget someone, but you know who you are. We didn’t get the list finished (probably too long), but we did accomplish a lot. Desks were washed and closets cleaned out; weeds were pulled and the gravel parking lot graded; the furnace and mechanical rooms cleaned out and old paint recycled. In the end a truck loaded with yard debris went to the Beutler farm, several vanloads went to Goodwill and recycling and a dump truck went to the dump. Three wonderful ladies provided us with a nice lunch and cold drinks at noon. I would also like to thank Abiqua Landscape for bark dust (which still needs to be spread) and the loan of the dump truck and Tom Unger for use of a truck to haul yard debris. Thank you again to everyone who showed up to help. You made a difference in our parish community and for that I am grateful. Sincerely, Kathy Beutler
Desde el fondo de mi corazón…
Quiero agradecer a todos los que nos ayudaron con la limpieza de nuestra parroquia el sábado pasado. Me resisto a decir nombres por el temor de olvidarme de alguien, pero ustedes saben quienes son ustedes. No terminamos nuestra lista (posiblemente muy larga) pero hicimos bastante. Lavamos los escritorios y limpiamos los armarios; quitamos la maleza y trabajamos en el estacionamiento de grava; limpiamos el calentador y limpiamos los cuartos de equipo mecánico y reciclamos la pintura vieja. Al final, un camión llevó los desechos de nuestro patio a la granja Beutler, se hicieron varios viajes a Goodwill y al reciclaje, y se enviaron desperdicios al basurero. Tres damas maravillosas nos proporcionaron un almuerzo agradable y bebidas frías al mediodía. También quiero agradecer a Abiqua Landscape for los fragmentos de corteza (que aún necesitan ser esparcidos) y por el préstamos del camión y a Tom Unger por el uso del vehículo para transportar los desechos del patio. Gracias de nuevo a todos los que vinieron y nos ayudaron. Ustedes hacen la diferencia en nuestra comunidad parroquial y por eso yo estoy muy agradecida.
