PRESENTATION

BTT TENNIS ACADEMY is a high performance center situated in the facilities of the Club Esportiu Valldoreix in the town of Valldoreix near Barcelona. The main goal is an integral preparation of tennis players of all standards and ages searching its maximum human and sports development.

Founded in 2004 by Francis Roig, Alvaro Margets and Jordi Vilaró, all three continue to direct and personally oversee the daily running of the BTT TENNIS ACADEMY, recently strengthened in 2011 by the incorporation of Alberto Riba who has brought to the academy all his high performance tennis experience previously acquired in his position as Managing Director of the Spanish Tennis Federation.

BTT TENNIS ACADEMY is focused on ensuring that all their student-players particular individual needs are satisfied with customized training programs. Alberto Costa, Alex Corretja, Feliciano López, Fernando Verdasco, Marcel Granollers, Tommy Robredo, Teimuraz Gabashvili and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova are just some examples of top international players that have all put their trust in our academy over many years.

Noteworthy is the case of Portuguese player Joao Sousa who joined the BTT Tennis Academy at age 15 and continues training at the academy. During all this time he has evolved as a tennis player and as a person under the direction of the technical team of BTT. He has managed to establish himself among the 50 best players in the world, reaching his best ranking, 28 ATP, in 2016.

In BTT TENNIS ACADEMY each player is a project and as proof of this, personalized attention is provided for each student with a maximum of two players per coach and court, one of the aspects which best defines the quality of our highly individual coaching programmes.

For more than 12 years, BTT TENNIS ACADEMY, through its Technical Director Francis Roig, has maintained a collaboration agreement with one of the world´s top players, Rafa Nadal. Francis is part of the technical team that oversees and assesses this great player. The technical team leads and directs the training sessions and accompanies the player to all the different tournaments that Rafa plays in. Francis specifically oversees and travel with Rafa during more than 15 weeks per year. In this way BTT TENNIS ACADEMY reaffirms its position on the professional circuit at the highest possible level and confirms itself as an academy in search of the highest sports performance.

PROGRAMMES Thanks to their long and continued experience in the field of high performance world-class tennis, the technical team of BTT Tennis Academy has developed a series of programmes that guarantee the highest level of attention to their student-players. This means that the student-players who choose BTT as a way of reaching high performance levels are guided and steered towards reaching their fullest potential. Student-players can choose from the following options:

BTT FULL TIME TENNIS PROGRAMME

Programme for players from 14 years, with a minimum stay of 6 months, and who want to work intensively to improve their level of play and competition. Focused on technical, tactical, physical and mental work directed by professionals of recognized prestige in the world of tennis. Includes 17 weekly hours of tennis (maximum 2 players per court and coach), 11 hours of fitness and 6 hours of injury prevention and recovery programmes (in small groups). An individualized competition schedule will be established for each player. Minimum level required.

BTT TENNIS + SCHOOL Programmes to improve the level of tennis by combining their technical, tactical physical and mental training with academic studies. 17 hours of tennis (maximum 2 players per court and coach), 11 hours of fitness (including injury prevention and recovery programmes), 18 hours of on-site school. On line systems with tutors of the prestigious Agora Sant Cugat International School. Management and preparation to obtain scholarship in the USA. Options :

• BTT NEW GENERATION BY FRANCIS ROIG Programme for players from 10 to 16 years old Supervised directly by Francis Roig, technical director of BTT Tennis Academy and coach of Rafa Nadal since 2005

• HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS Programme for players from 16 to 18 years old.

BTT TEMPORARY TENNIS PROGRAMME

Programme for players who wish to take short stays at BTT Tennis Academy, with a minimum of one week but with the same intensity of work as in the permanent programmes, with 17 hours of tennis (maximum 2 players per court and coach), 11 of fitness and 6 of injury prevention and recovery programmes (in small groups). Programme that allows players to prepare to compete in certain tournaments. No age or level limitation.

MEDICAL SERVICES In the last few years, Barcelona has not only come to the forefront

of modern tennis because of the large number of professional players who play and train on a daily basis in one or other of the city’s academies, but also because of the highly qualified Medical Services specialized in the prevention and the treatment of tennis injuries. Proof of this is the fact that not only almost all Spanish professional players but

STRINGING SERVICE We provide the best and most prestigious racket stringing service in all of Spain. Main Draw, a company directed and managed by Xavi Segura, provides this service as well as being the official stringer for the Spanish Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams. Their stringing services also extend to prestigious tournaments like Open Godó, as well as to players like Rafael Nadal, J.C. Ferrero, Tommy Robredo, Feliciano Lopez, and many others. Main Draw’s services not only focus on stringing but also cover the balancing and personalization of rackets, as well as play- tests to define the racket that is best suited to the characteristics of each player. Main Draw’s services are provided within the academy itself so that each and every player is guaranteed a personalized service at good value.

The student-players in BTT have the best possible medical services available in Barcelona thanks to an agreement between our academy and the medical team of Doctor Angel Ruiz Cotorro, a prestigious and internationally recognized figure working and looking after the medical interests of top level tennis players like Rafa Nadal, David Ferrer, Garbiñe Muguruza, Carla Suarez, etc. This agreement guarantees our student-players the best possible way of preventing injuries as well as offering high quality treatment for general physical and health problems than may arise. The Medical Services, in coordination with our fitness team, are responsible for programming and carrying out exercise stress and control testing that all our student-players are obliged to do periodically.

SCHOOL One of the main goals of the BTT TENNIS ACADEMY is to provide tennis players with the opportunity to improve their game and become professional tennis players without putting their academic future in risk.

That is the reason why BTT TENNIS ACADEMY, in collaboration with Agora Sant Cugat International School, offers a comprehensive, flexible programme aimed at young tennis players who have started on their journey to become professional players and who do not wish to give up on the idea of going to university. This programme combines technical and tactical training and a high level of physical exercise, together with an educational curriculum that suits the individual needs of each athlete, taking into account both their training timetables and their competition schedules. Programme BTT Tennis + School “New Generation by Francis Roig” 18 school hours per week directed by qualified teachers/tutors. Players from 10 to 14 years old will use the Canadian Blyth Academy Online system or any other platform they may have. Players from 15 to 16 years old will use the American Nebraska Degree Online system or any other they may have. Programme BTT Tennis + School “High School Tennis” 18 school hours per week directed by qualified teachers/tutors. Players from 17 to 18 years old will use the American Nebraska Degree Online system or any other they may have.

At Agora Sant Cugat International School players are prepared to achieve excellence in their human and intellectual development, by means of flexible structures, and fostering the players’ natural abilities and gifts, teaching them how to use them for their own and common good.

POLICIES PAYMENT POLICY Programmes 1 and 2 (with or without accommodation) 10% deposit for booking a place. Payment of 40% of the total before the start of the programme. Payment of the remaining 50%, 3 months after the start of the programme. School fee must be paid directly to Europa International School. Programme 3 (with or without accommodation): 20% deposit for booking a place. Payment of 80% of the remaining before the start of the programme.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation before 30 days from the start of the programme:

• Before making the payment: the reservation of place deposit will not be refunded. • After making the payment: 50% of the payment made will be refunded.

Cancellation 30 days or less from the start of the programme or when it has already begun:

• No refund of fees will be paid.
