PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of Addition to Tracy Area Elementary School, includes Cafeteria and some Storage Space. The Alterations of the Kitchen and Serving Area is also included. Includes the creation of two Firewalls by adding fire rated doors. Also includes a connection to the Addition through Maintenance and Storage Area. TYPE OF BIDS: Single lump sum bids will be received for the total scope of the Work. BID DATE: Bids must be received on or before November 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM, local time. The Friends of Shetek State Park are planning the 11th annual Pumpkin Festival at Lake Shetek State Park Saturday, Oct. 22.

Activities will be held at the park’s Zuya Group Center from 1 to 4 p.m.

Hayrides, face painting, pumpkin decorating, games, campfire s’mores, refreshments, and a leaf pile are among the activities.

There is no charge, however, state park vehicle permits are

required to enter the park. Daily permits are $5 per vehicle or $25 for an annual permit and can be purchased at the office.

Lake Shetek State Park is located 14 miles northeast of Slayton or 13 miles south of Tracy. Access to the park is by County Road 38, north of Currie. For more information, contact the park directly at (507) 763-3256 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
