Workshops

Lachlan’s Software Fayre

During the EPDIC 13 Conference, there will be a Software Fayre, for the demonstration of free and/or open-source software used for the analysis of powder diffraction data.

This follows the fayres which were organized by Lachlan Cranswick at previous EPDIC, ECM and IUCr meetings (now continued also by Martin Lutz). This fayre, like his contributions to the CCP14 project or the Nexus CD, have helped many young scientists around the world grasp crystallographic knowledge and handling of X-ray and neutron scattering data

The presentations will take place during the lunches (sandwiches will be provided for the first 50 attendees) and the poster sessions. Its location will be the meeting room B222/B223.
