Quebec, Canada.Our scope o work includeda comprehensive
hydraulicanalysis and optimisationstudy or a slurry pipelineto
trans er tailings rom anexisting concentrator to anew paste
preparation plant.
Our study includedoptimisation o pipe andpump size, basic
operatingphilosophy, reeze protectionstudy, pipe stress analysisand
support recommendation.
The tailings trans er pipelinesystem is designed or
thetransportation o a maximumo 65 t/h o zinc tailings, andincludes
a 7.2 km, 5-inchdiameter pipeline with HDPEinsulation and heat
tracing.
