The kitchen is modern and functional with a generous sized pantry, good bench space, a free standing electric oven, separate space for a fridge and a second door which leads to the landing at the top of the stairs.
The cabinets are white, as is the bench top and breakfast bar. A long window over the bench offers pleasant views and has a white venetian blind for privacy.
A smart timber edge around the cabinets and white tiles over the bench complete the package.
The main bedroom in the north east corner of the upper level is a good size and boasts a walk in wardrobe and ensuite. The good sized wardrobe has a shelf, rail and window for good natural light. The ensuite features a square shower unit, toilet, vanity with good storage, and wall mirror. Neutral tones on the wall and a light carpet combine to offer a relaxing bedroom away from the living area. Two large windows in the bedroom offer views to the north and east with lovely glimpses to the harbour and Ward Island.

A border around the paving and lawn offers a great spot to grow some vegetables, flowers or herbs.
Well located near Khandallah Village and all the amenities and schools Khandallah has to offer – this property will appeal to couples or families looking for a family or first home – that they can move in and enjoy – and with the opportunity to improve. The suburb of Khandallah
Khandallah is located just four kilometres or a 10 minute car drive, northeast of the city centre on hills overlooking the harbour.
The name Khandallah means “Resting place of God”. The name comes from a homestead built in the area in 1884 by Captain James Andrew, who had recently returned from duty in India and hence many of the streets in Khandallah and neighboring suburbs have Indian names.
The telephone exchange in Khandallah was built in 1921 and is a national treasure as it was the first important public building built after the First World War.
Today Khandallah has a thriving city centre, “The Village”, with a range of facilities including a supermarket, dairy, cafes, beautician, butcher, restaurants and many others. Plus Khandallah’s Edwardian town hall is situated in the centre of the shops and used for a range of community events.
Khandallah is made up of three parks that stretch north to Johnsonville and include 2km2 of Mount KauKau. The summit of this 445-metre peak is home to one of Wellington’s main television repeaters. There are also panoramic views of the harbour from the top.
Khandallah Park, established in 1888, is very popular with Khandallah residents and includes a 30-meter outdoor pool, playground and café.
Khandallah is also home to the Khandallah FireStation built in the 1920s, Nairnville Recreation Centre and Park plus many other amentities including a good bus and train service.
Khandallah has many stately homes plus new homes with many large and delightful gardens.
It is well serviced by primary schools, childcare centres, scout and karate groups and many more.

Steve Fejos
Born in Wellington and educated at St Patrick’s College
and Victoria University in Wellington Steve entered real
estate in August 1993, having come from a background
in property management. In January 1996 Steve was
appointed Sales Manager for Challenge Realty’s Oriental
Bay Office. Within eighteen months Steve took the office
into the top ten in the Challenge Realty Group. Steve went
on to purchase three Wellington offices in October 1997.
Over the next seven years Steve was instrumental in
growing the company from a sales team of twelve to a
team of sixty eight sales people with four thousand house
sales worth over 1.5 billion dollars!
Shortly after Steve sold the business he was approached
by Ray White Australia and asked to restructure their
International business model so as to increase their
competitiveness with RE/MAX. At the time over three
hundred sales people, in Queensland alone, had left Ray
White to join RE/MAX. In the next few years Steve played
a huge part in turning around the fortunes of Ray White
and increasing the number of sales people by over 40%.
Steve returned to New Zealand in November 2005 and
took up the role of Director of Operations for RE/MAX
New Zealand. The role was to assist broker owners and
top sales people at new and established RE/MAX offices,
to implement their business plans and maintain the
momentum of the fastest growing real estate company
- the RE/MAX brand, in New Zealand and Australia. In
2006 Steve attended a wide range of leading international
industry training seminars in Denver, Chicago and
Brisbane.
After more than four hundred flights during his three
years in his corporate career Steve decided to resign and
return to what he loves doing most - selling real estate in
Wellington.
Steve’s extensive experience in Real Estate spanning
local, national and international markets is a huge
benefit to his clients. This and his innovative and unique
marketing techniques is ‘Setting a New BENCHMARQUE
in Wellington Real Estate’.

TestimonialGary Ahearn, Regional Director of RE/MAX Australasia
says, “Steve brings together a vast experience and
understanding of all facets of real estate. Having been
very successful in sales in the mid 1990’s Steve really
made his mark on real estate by establishing a very
credible and strong company under the L.J.Hooker
brand. The standards he set are still the standards some
offices are striving to attain. However it is Steve’s ability
to relate to all people in the community which is his
outstanding strength.”
