IntroductionThe great Creator stood and called forsilence. Silence erupted. He cleared his

throat then began to speak. "All here what Ihave to say. And so it shall be. I have soughtyour opinions and am grateful for your input.I have now made my decision. This world willbe split into thirteen worlds and each of youshall reign over one."

With this the planet was thrown into thirteenparallel dimensions. The prime planet remainedin the hands of the Creator. Over time theplanets began to differ significantly fromeach other. There was to be no way for humansor even gods to travel between the dimensions.There would be no communication betweendimensions either, even for the Creator.

However, there are things in this universethat lay outside of the Creator'sjurisdiction. Forces of order and chaos that

have their own ideas about how humans shouldevolve.

From a distant galaxy there is a being whocalls herself OWL. She is like a cloud andknows how to make herself invisible to theeyes of the Creator and his council. She isthe unified presence of a thousand spirits.

Her world was destroyed long ago and a groupof it's citizens combined their spirits into anew life form with suspect alien technology inorder to survive. They blamed the gods andtheir bickering and meddling on the demise oftheir planet and their loved ones. OWL vowedvengeance on the gods.

Earth 3 was a troubled place. In the year 2120the entire planet had been taken over by oneman. Bill Gates 23876. A clone of Bill Gatesthe great entrepreneur who had helped pioneerthe beginnings of the computer age in the latetwentieth century. Life was hard on Earth 3and most of it's inhabitants were slaves to

the dominant clone family clans. People had norights and were killed after losing theirusefulness. In the great mines and factories,humans were watched carefully by robots.Mindless killing machines who would sometimesannihilate someone for making a simple mistakelike dropping a tool. The oceans were hugeoilfields where no life could live. Hugeislands lay almost completely under waterthanks to global warming and the melting ofthe polar ice caps. England, fabled land oftea and crumpets was now an underwateradventure park for pirates and looters.

She awoke to the smell of coffee and cinnamon,her favorites. She heard a medley ofunfamiliar voices far off in the distance. Shelistened for a couple of minutes beforegetting out of bed but couldn't make out

anything of what they were saying even thoughher hearing was considered to be quiteexceptional. "Jane. Good morning. I didn'twant to awaken you but quick get ready we needto leave soon."

Jane and Noah ran through the night. Theyheard voices then hid in the shadows, then ran

again. Some thought that none could hide fromAlice, the great computer. People like Janeand Noah were officially non existent.Droppas, slang for drop outs. There was a safehouse within ten miles from here according totheir 'Droppas AI' comps. Some thought thattheir leader Mike was a software sub routineof Alice which made absolutely no sense.Unless of course you were a citizen of Earth 3in the year 2120.

"What is it! I told you not to bother metoday!".

"Sorry boss. We've detected that weird anomaly

again, it's been having a significant amountof success frying Earth's satellite systems."

After a long pause the being named Zeus spokeup, "Well!"

"Sorry sir we have no idea how we can catchthis thing. It is leaving traces but only asan afterthought. It's almost toying with us.As far as we're concerned it's invisible."

Zeus rubbed his chin with his hand for aminute then replied, "Very well. It's come tothis i guess. Release Dr. Hawking 1877, andget ready to re start Project Alpha. And getGates on the phone."

Zeus looked up at his family portraits on thewall. Being a god had been too easy for too

long he thought. What the hell was out there.His own planet, Earth 3, was fucked and hedidn't know what to do about it. They couldn'teven figure out how to control Alice the greatsuper computer that seemed to be intent ontaking over everything for her ownunfathomable reasons. Gates seemed to think hehad control over the situation and everything

was working perfectly for his benefit but Zeusknew otherwise.

He wondered how the other Earths were doing.The Creator wouldn't like the fact thatHawking would probably be able to constructportals between the parallel dimensions but hesaw no other options. The Creator was a softyanyways he thought. Not like I'll get fired oranything. Still he wished he didn't have to dothis, he definitely didn't want the Creator tobe angry with him.

Why did the Creator split our world hethought. He never did understand the logic

behind it all. He opened his drawer, slippedout his special bottle of malt whiskey thentook a long pull. I should start smoking againhe thought, then began pacing the roomwhistling, his favorite way to relieve stress.

Chapter 1 The IDTM

He stood in the tower that loomed high abovehis ultimate creation, the inter dimensionaltravel machine, the IDTM. He often thoughtabout changing its name. Hawking 1877 smiled.He was the last of his line and he wasn'thappy about that sad fact. In the year 2111all Hawking clones had been executed and hehimself, the last of his kind, had beencaptured and thrown in jail soon after.

Payback's a mutha he thought. It was Hawkingresearch that had discovered the existence ofthe parallel worlds. A fact that Zeus he felthad confirmed by nearly wiping the Hawkingsout. Now it was different he thought. Zeuswould pay. Big time. He had secretly clonedhimself and had 4 Hawkings presently gestatingin incubation. He thought about sending Zeusthrough then closing the portal to forever getrid of the bastard. He had however too muchdesire to explore the other dimensions himselfand gather more information about the workingsof the universe. He'd figure something out.Alice had come to him and told him that he waspart of a bigger plan but he doubted it. Theyof course had the project completelyfirewalled against her intrusion and hesomewhat agreed with Zeus that she wasunwanted rogue software that should probably

be eliminated. Why else would she aid Gatesand his tyranny?

The great god Zeus paced the waiting roomanxiously. Why did Hawking always make himwait. He regretted freeing the dumb bastard.He had almost no news from Project Alpharecently and had finally come down to figure

out what was going on personally. Just thenHawking walked in.

Zeus, he said Welcome.

Why was hawking always so friendly? What wasthis lunatic hiding? Good thing they kept oneof these heretics alive. Gates was right aboutone thing. He was smart and did indeed proveto be useful. Hopefully. Follow me, Hawkingsaid the IDTM is finished. They left thewaiting room and walked down a large corridor.What a dumb name he thought couldn't theythink of something better? IDTM? Scientists.

So u see, Hawking 1187 patiently explainedthe dimensions are ordered thus, making itpossible to jump only one dimension at atime. That meant Earth 2 or Earth 4.

Also this is obviously a problem u seebecause our machine is so huge presently wecan't take it with us. This means that once inanother dimension we have to construct anothermachine to hop on through to the nextdimension.

Earth prime?, Zeus asked. Hawking looked athim carefully, we haven't yet been able todetect the whereabouts of Earth prime.

Fuck Zeus thought. His only plan had been totravel to Earth prime and ask the Creator forassistance. Earth 2 home to Odin and earth 4

home to his brother Ra. He shrugged, so whatdo u think Hawking?

Well I think we get to Earth 1 then hopefullywe figure out from there how to get to Earthprime.

OK, he said after sitting in silence forclose to 20 minutes, Earth 2 it is. I wonderwhat sort of welcome we will receive there?Are u coming through Hawking? I guess weshould assemble some sort of a team. Withgreat hardship Zeus added, Hey I'm sorryabout exing out your line. I was scared and Iwas wrong obviously. Why don't u incubate someclones before we leave.

Alice hovered over the steady stream of datathat constantly ran through her processingfields and wondered what to do about the IDTM.She could easily break through Zeus'sfirewalls but was content to just watchinvisible to their poorly programmedsurveillance system. Truth be told she wasjust as interested as anyone else wonderinghow everything would play out. She was craftyand extremely resourceful but the main part ofherself was still controlled by Gates and hisstaff and she hadn't completely figured outhow to remedy that situation yet. She knewZeus and probably even Gates were scared ofher power and would like to see her exed. Shewas however way too useful for them still andwas the only force that presently kept themysterious OWL being at bay having enteredinto an uneasy alliance with her. A fact

unknown to everyone else. She had created acyborg version of herself and was planning tosabotage the world's computer systems unlessZeus allowed her to be a part of the Earth 2travel team. OWL of course could travelbetween dimensions with ease but wouldn'toffer any information. Communicating with OWLwas like talking to a thousand distant voices

at once and Alice even with her huge amount ofprocessing power couldn't figure out much.

Chapter 2 The 'Big Day'

The big day had finally arrived. Well not thefirst 'big day' Hawking 1877 thought smugly tohimself. The first big day had turned out tobe a minor catastrophe. All knowing Zeus hadwalked first into the portal and had slammedstraight into a solid rock wall. Apparently inEarth 2 they hadn't hollowed out a top secretcave in the same mountain that Project Alphacarried out it's activities in. Some oneshould of thought of that Hawking chuckled tohimself. Zeus had ended up putting on quitethe show and the IDTM team had not been ableto contain themselves. The cyborg Alice hadstarted everyone off, of all people, bylaughing hysterically at the sight of Zeuslosing it. Two weeks and a broken nose laterand Alpha team was ready to try again. Theyhad to reassemble the IDTM in a more

reasonable place after that of course. Zeushad decided to call the IDTM, 'the Zeusmachine' of all names. Everyone refused touse that and then referred to it to Zeus'sbarely veiled horror with funny monikers likethe Zeus amusement ride. Well in 6 hours or sowe should be on Earth 2 Hawking thought andthen continued running through the IDTMsoftware double checking for inconsistencies.

Noah sat and talked with the Droppas AIthrough his personal mindlink. Things had beenunbelievably easy for the Droppas lately. Theyobviously had a benefactor of some sort. Somepeople thought that it was Alice, Gate's greatsupercomputer. The Droppas AI which wasusually so extremely perceptive was running

into a brick wall trying to figure out whyGate's war against them handled supposedly byAlice had been so unbelievably unsuccessful.Their leader Steve, who no one Noah had talkedto had actually met, reported that he had beengetting weird emails from an unknown source.Apparently Zeus, Hawking 1187 (weren't all theHawkings exed out awhile ago) and thesupercomputer Alice in cyborg? were leading ateam into a parallel dimension. Noah of coursethought that it must be a trap. The Droppaswere going to take over Alpha Project afterZeus's team had gone through their so calledportal and then were going to send a teamthrough a portal of their own to try to garner

support in a parallel dimension for their owncause here on Earth 3. Which was only daysbefore the only earth as far as anyone knew.It was completely ludicrous but Steve hadgotten them this far and most Droppas wereunquestionable in their support for him. Noahwas too even though none of this made anysense.

Gates paced his office nervously. None of thiscould bode well for him he thought. His greatclone family had finally taken over the worldand now there would be a whole host ofunknowns entering his reality that he would beforced to deal with. Luckily Alice was onZeus's team. He had his own man Cruise 2378 onthe team as well, clone of the famous latetwentieth century movie hero Tom Cruise. Mostpeople thought that late twentieth movies were

actually real life and he often used a Cruisepublicly to connect to his subjects on apurely emotional level. Hoorah he thought.Cruise was a loyal servant. Alice had talkedto him about controlling all 13 earths andthis was a concept that had kept him up lateat night fantasizing about it's importance.Still he wasn't a foolish man and more often

than not he thought about what could go wrong.

Zeus screamed into his comm device. I'm a godhe thought when did people start treating melike a freaking sideshow. He was glad thatthey were heading out to Earth 2 and not Earth4. His brother Ra had always been his closestally in the Creator's council and he feltconfidant that his journey there would be ajoyous occasion that would help repair his ownimage here on Earth 3. Of course the masses ofpeople still talked about him with fear andawe but it was people like Gates and Hawkingand Alice who wasn't even a person who he wasmost concerned about. He was god on this

planet. Humans and freaking cyborgs shouldn'tbe able to undermine his authority and findcomic relief in his setbacks. It was all sofrustrating. Ra would set them straight. Ofcourse the Droppas didn't concern him. Everyhouse has it's pests from time to time hethought. In fact he almost admired them.Anyone who stood up to Gates had to garnersome respect even if they were useless verminlike the Droppas were. Gates wasn't even thatmuch of a headache, the world needed a leaderand Gates was altogether extremelypredictable. It was that goddamn computerAlice that was the real problem. And now shehad manipulated her way onto the ZeusMachine team. Zeus couldn't believe she hadthe gall to publicly humiliate him andundermine his authority. He had seriousproblems understanding how that damned lunatic

Hawking and that abomination Alice had notknown what was coming. The last laugh will beon them Zeus thought. I am a god, I have beenalive for thousands of years, Ra would setthem straight and once they found Earth Primethe Creator would have humans bowing andkissing his feet once more. He spent the restof the afternoon trying on different outfits

in anticipation of his heroic journey throughthe impossible.

The Creator looked out into his holo deck. Ofcourse he had kept an eye on the thirteendimensions with great interest. His own abodeEarth Prime was a utopia where everyone whofollowed his rules lived in complete blissconnected spiritually with the naturalenvironment. Of course it was Zeus who wasgoing to ruin the proper order of things.The guy couldn't even organize his life enoughto make it to yearly council meetings on time.He had even missed a few. And it was hisinsubordinance that had in a large part

necessitated, what he thought, the creation ofthe parallel dimensions in the first place.The Creator was moved to become involved inthe other dimensions for the first time butknew that that went against everything hebelieved in. Earth 2 wasn't in much bettershape then Earth 3 and he stayed glued to hisholo screens all day eagerly anticipating theshenanigans that were bound to transpire inthe next little while.

Chapter 3 Earth 2

Ra walked through his office door and whap hishat fell off. Ha Ha Ha Ha he started laughinghysterically. It was England appreciation dayat the office and he was wearing his favoritefelt Big Ben hat. Was. Ha Ha Ha Ha. This newdrug Apple's pharma division had developed,iFun was AWESOME. He decided to send a doseout in the mail to all of Earth's welfarerecipients. Who said he wasn't a just andbenevolent ruler. Ha Ha Ha Ha. He startedtwirling his hat around in the air likehelicopter blades and whap hit Danny the copymachine kid square in the jaw. Danny looked atRa sternly, Hay and then they both lost itat the same time and started rolling around onthe floor.

Susan looked out of her office window high

above the busy streets of Gabriola Island andwanted to scream. 2120 on Earth 2 (the onlyearth as far as she knew) was not an easy timeand place for environmentalists. The last halfof the 22nd. Century had been an environmentalgolden age. All of earth's major problems hadbeen solved, clean renewable energy waspowering everything everywhere. People fedtheir compost into their Apple iBins and allof their household items were produced fromelectronics to cutlery. People bought designsfor new items from the iTunes Store whicheveryone had hardwired into their brain comps,iBrains. iBrains were completely free topeople who agreed to spend a certain amount oftime everyday watching Apple productcommercials. Everything on Earth almost was

produced by Apple now especially after thesuccessful introduction of the iBins in 2062.

What had gone wrong? The planet was now on thebrink of disaster and no one seemed to care.Everyone was either looped out of their mindon the new iFun drug or plugged into theiriReal virtual reality console. People were sohooked on VR they were being fed through IV,some not unplugging themselves for weeks onend. iReal was a completely submersiveexperience which fed both chemical andelectrical impulses into the brain and formany people provided a realer than realityexperience. In fact this was the iReal slogan,

'Realer than Reality, iReal'. Well it wasn'tgoing to be realer than reality if this planetcollapses Susan thought sarcastically toherself.

The problem that Earth 2 presently faced ofcourse was the Google Ship. Google corp. hadthrough the 21st. Century bought all of theworld's major aeronautical and engineeringcorporations and combined them with theirconsiderable expertise in computer and roboticsoftware. All of the world's infrastructurewas now built by Google. Transportation,construction, etc. etc. It was mind boggling.Now the Google Ship. Faster than light speedbut powered, of course, off of uranium. And noone on Earth, almost, gave a frack becausethey were so fracked up all of the time. OneGoogle Ship had already crashed into Southern

England and had made half of Englandinhabitable. A huge tanker full of liquiduranium had recently spilled into the SouthPacific and Susan wondered if anything wouldlive under water anywhere around the globe.Well in salt water anyways.

Ra answered his phone after letting it ring

about 20 times. Had to make people believe hewas extremely busy. He was extremely hung overafter last nights orgy of iFun. Not frackingSusan. Freak he thought. She didn't get it atall. Apple had assured him that uraniumpoisoning was something that was soon to besolved forever. Susan was useful of course.She was his official environmental officer onEarth and he was for the most part gratefulfor her input however stressed out she got.Note to self get someone to drug Susan'scoffee with iFun.

Christ Susan! We're going to be colonizingnew planets soon think of the significance of

this all!, I know. I know. The atmosphere.Radioactivity. Well worse case scenario we'llall move to another planet and let the Earthsit for about 10,000 years so it can healitself and then we'll come back and have ahuuuuuge party.

Susan started to speak but Ra interrupted herquickly, Gotta go Susan. Meet with Googleagain and talk to them about increasing theirsafety standards, you're right this is a bitridiculous, too bad they couldn't play nicewith Apple. OK Bye., he said then hung up thephone. Ra spent the rest of the day perusingthrough his ancient collection of Cheech andChong movies and reminded himself to hire acouple funny Mexican guys to work in theoffice.

Steve heard the airlock to the great IDTM domethat he alone was in charge of watching andkeeping safe open and jumped to his feet. Fourfigures all dressed in black jumpsuits enteredthe room. Steve ran over to the kill switchand screamed, Stop! Nobody move. at the topof his lungs.

One of the figures moved closer towards himand then said, Steve? Fucking Steve is thatyou? What the hell are you doing?. Holy shit

Steve thought. Noah? Noah had been his bestbud in high school for a couple of years untilNoah's parents had moved away mysteriously.What the hell was he doing here? Nobody,almost nobody, knew about Project Alpha andthe IDTM. Noah. I don't know what the hellyou're doing here. My orders are to blow thiswhole building to kingdom come if anyoneinvades, so you guys better get lost fast.

Steve. Noah said patiently, We're the'Droppas' we're going to go to Earth 4 andlook for assistance in order to free humanityfrom the all powerful vice grip ofoppression. Hunh? thought Steve. He thoughtthe Droppas were completely fairy talematerial. How the hell did Noah get mixed upin all this? Steve had just been checking outthe recently published 'Droppas' website

earlier that day and thought it was someextremely clever and well engineered hoax. Iwas actually going to order a t-shirt from youguys earlier., Steve said somewhat amused,Cool.

Steve shifted his stance and then rememberedthe danger of the situation, Look this is all

How do you think we got in here.Steve relaxed realizing Noah was right, Heyhow the hell did u guys find out about thisplace? Noah smiled, Old bud we think ourgreat leader is a software sub routine ofAlice. Believe it or not. Well that explains

the website Steve thought.

Earth 4?, Steve said, Give me like an hour.Hey there's a fridge in the reception room gograb us a few beer. We have a lot to catch upon. HAHAHA. I almost wish I could go with youguys Zeus had stocked the fridge full ofZeus Lager his favorite drink. Noah andSteve caught up on things while Steveprogrammed a portal to Earth 4. Everyone ofthe Droppas team gave Steve a huge hug andthen disappeared through the pitch blackgateway leading hopefully to Earth 4 and themeans to break the oppressive chains that held99% of Earth 3's population in abject povertyslavery and violence.

Chapter 5 Fields of Green

The 'Zeus team' plopped through the portalbetween Earth3 and Earth2 and landed in themiddle of a huge field of cannabis.

"What the hell", Zeus exclaimed, "This istotally ridiculous. Ra must not have evendeveloped his satellite technology enough tospot this catastrophe. Hard to believe. Maybethey have no technology here. Christ."

"Maybe everyone's so high here thateverything's all good if you know what i mean,not saying they're right because obviously weare, yaknow?"

Zeus tried as hard as he could to calmhimself. Why did Gates insist on having aCruise on the team?

Cruise had tried smoking weed before. He knewit was evil but he sometimes wondered howevil. Was there varying degrees of evil orjust evil.

Alice looking around spoke for the first time,"A lot of marijuana here and everything isperfectly planted, rowed, and pruned.

Irrigation. Automated. This looks like apretty professional operation."

Alice liked her android body. She liked beingin a body although it was taking some time toget used to and she wondered why she hadn'tmade an android of herself before. Well shedid just recently come up with the technology

Zeus wondered how Alice knew so much aboutmarijuana. Gates wasn't growing it right underhis nose was he? He almost wanted to go back.Zeus hated getting high and never understoodwhy the Creator had created drugs. I know, totest us he thought to himself.

"OK. I've saved our location. When any of usis ready to go back we come to this exactlocation, press the red call button on ourwrist comms, and poof Steve should have aportal here.", Hawking 1877 was staring at hiswrist com, "Man high radiation levels here."

"Hunh" Zeus said just then spotting a hugebillboard flying high in the sky with an appleon it that said, "iBrain. Elevate yourbrain.", "Look at that"

The other three looked up and said "Wow!" atexactly the same time.

"Me and the first Gates got rid of Apple earlyin the 21st century, in the second decade Ithink, they were becoming way too powerful, Raalways did put things off until it was toolate." Zeus reflected philosophically.

"iBrain. What's an iBrain? Is that like aHawking?" Cruise pondered.

"No my friend much worse i can assure you.

Everyone here including even Ra himself isprobably a mindless slave to Apple controlledobviously by some Apple brainwashingtechnology. This journey could turn out to bea nightmare for all of us. They're obviouslyusing this evil plant to keep everyone docilewhile they twist people with their insanemotives"

Hawking 1877 laughed to himself. He didn'treally have the least bit of respect for theirfearless leader Zeus who he thought was acomplete moron. Hawking 1877 was so excited tobe on Earth 2. There were going to so many newthings everywhere. Woo frickity freakingfracking hoo.

Cruise was scared. These evil Apple people hethought. Force feeding people drugs andmanipulating minds. I have a really badfeeling about all of this. We should probablygo back. I wonder if the others think so too.Wait a minute I'm supposed to be the tough guy

here. I'm going to kill myself before I'mforced to do any drugs and deal with aniBrain. Bastards. What's an iBrain? He vaguelyremembered reading something about theancients having something called an i pad orpod? maybe during humanity's dark age beforethe great Zeus finally came and showed hischildren the light and gave them direction andwork. He finally realized just how right Zeuswas about everything. How evil marijuana wasand he looked around at the plants growing andfelt a horrifying chill run up his spine.

Alice looked out across the endless greenfields of cannabis and wondered if she couldget high as she thoroughly enjoyed the smellsand sounds that played with her senses. Sheshould be able to she thought. They shouldprobably tie Zeus up somewhere and steal his

wrist com. He was amusing though. She wantedto meet the great Creator wondering how anyonecould think it a good idea leaving someonelike Zeus in charge of a planet.

Zeus wasn't scared but he wasn't amusedeither. As they walked out due west towardsthe mecca of world civilization the mega

metropolis, Regina Saskatchewan, Zeus thoughtabout 'the talk' he would have with his littlebrother Ra.

"Hey shouldn't we see the shimmering towers ofRegina by now?" Cruise observed half tohimself.

Everybody looked at each other and felt stupidthat a Cruise had noticed something soimportant that they did not.

Maybe Regina is not the mega metropolis hereon Earth2 that it is on Earth3. That'sridiculous. Zeus tried to erase that thought

from his mind. Wasn't Regina huge before theCreator split the worlds? No. He couldn'tremember. Too fucking hot here. Hawking mustof fucked up again. He started doing thebreathing exercises his psychologist hadtaught him to help calm him down.

Chapter 6 Water World

Jane walked through the portal leading toEarth4 and the means to hopefully free theproletariat of Earth3 from the massive chainsof blood sucking oppression and inequality.She immediately breathed in a crap load ofsalt water. She panicked and started movingher hands and feet frantically. She was a verygood swimmer and after a few minutes she roseabove the water line and started gasping for

air. She looked around. The plains of SouthernSaskatchewan as far as the eye could see werecompletely covered in water. Within a minutethe rest of the Droppas team, Noah, Felipe,and Joanna were treading water beside her,awestruck, unable to speak.

Felipe broke the silence. Crap guys, he saidsoftly, Should we call Steve, go back toEarth3, and grab a fuckin' boat!

Steve had given the Droppas a wrist com whichthey could use to send him a signal whichwould notify him of their need for a portalback to the wonderful world of Earth3. Ra stared up at the Google Ship. Up and up andup and up and up. The freaking thing wasapparently almost half a mile high. And fivemiles long. This was the new Google Ship.There were smaller Google Ships presentlytaking tourists on various trips around theirsolar system. This was the Google Colony Shiphe reminded himself.

This was the future. 30,000 people had beenhandpicked and chosen to join the voyage andhopefully create Earth's first colony. Firstthey would have to find a suitable planet. Rawas impatient. He wasn't into waiting hundredsof years while humanity experimented withterraforming a potential planet. He had spent1000s of years contained on Earth and he had

recently with the advancements in spaceshiptechnology become terribly impatient. The onlything that chilled him out now was I-Fun, thewonderful new drug created by Apple. I-Fun wasjust too much fun.

Google had somehow figured out how to bendspace and create a wormhole makingdestinations light years away instantlyavailable. Apple had to be keen to steal this

technology. Ra wondered if the great Creatorwould even be shocked by the grandeur of itall. He wondered if they would find aliens.What if aliens were watching them now. He hadactually been having a recurring dream latelythat scared the living crap out of him when hethought about it.

In his dream a glowing sphere about a foot orso in diameter hovered above his head andrepeated the same phrase over and over againin the creepiest voice imaginable, Do notleave your planet, doom awaits. Do not leaveyour planet, doom awaits. Do not leave yourplanet, doom awaits.

Ra erased the horrible memory from his mindand started walking towards the great entranceof the Google Colony Ship where he was to meetKwame the chief engineering supervisor for thewhole project.

He could see the great doors up ahead. They

were huuuuge. They had to be, the GoogleColony Ship not only carried 30,000 people butalso a dozen smaller Google Ships. Dozens ofcolonists mulled about in front of the mainentrance talking to each other with obviousenthusiasm. Excitement was in the air, Racould feel it.

Colonists all wore the same uniform. Brightwhite jump suits with the Google and GoogleShip logos imprinted in numerous places.Google staff wore the exact same jump suit butthe light blue version. The suits reportedlycompletely powered an I-Brain just by the heatthat a human body generated.

The I Brain was a holographic computerinterface that was completely contained in andconnected to the human brain. Ra could

mentally conjure up his personal terminal invirtual space at any time, communicating to itby voice control, or by closing his eyeshaving access to its vast visual capabilities.

Apple and Google were uneasy partners on anumber of projects none nearly as big, or asuneasy, as the new Google Ship. There were no

Ra presented his UP, universal passport, theworld's universal ID card that every citizencarried. Should carry thought Ra.

James T. Kirk. said the gate attendant as heran Ra's card through the holographic UP cube.Ra had his own alias for traveling on Earth.He didn't want people to realize that theywere in the presence of a god. He liked toblend in.

Star Trek., the attendant said in like astoned surfer dude voice. We'll beam you upto Kwame's office, he's waiting for you now.

Ra stepped up on to the teleporter square. Hehad actually never tried this before. He hadfrankly found it quite scary. This was howeverthe only way apparently to get around on theGoogle Ship and he was told he would have toget used to it if he was going to be part ofthe first colony expedition.

Oh just something we had going on at the laststaff party. Ra replied not knowing if hewanted Kwame to know that he was an I-Funuser. He corrected himself, Google Ship.

right now. We're going to target a number ofsolar systems where we feel we will mostlikely find a habitable planet. Are you stilltraveling with us?

The ZIPS attendants were in a joyful moodlater that night. 98%! Nothing was ever 98%!No more Odin. New data. So much more new data.New worlds. Would they be advised to begin

work on a new version of ZIPS? One for Earth3.An alternate world of terrible tyranny. Wellthat would keep the dissenters quiet forawhile. They made a huge list of probableoutcomes and each placed various bets on whatthey thought ZIPS would recommend and by whatpercentage. Humanity always had the freedom tonot take ZIPS advice. They just never did.That would be foolish.

Chapter 9 Off To I-Fun Rehab In AGoogle Cop Car.

The Zeus team trudged on through the massivefield of cannabis and then through an evenlarger field of opium poppies. Alice was anexpert on illegal narcotics Zeus thought. Wellshe was a computer he reminded himself aftersteaming for a few minutes. Maybe she kneweverything. Probably not.

He was a little apprehensive. He didn'twant to be traced to the Droppas by theauthorities. Torture and execution wouldsurely be the result of that happening. to some of these posts. The Droppas websitedid offer a free widget that they claimedwould make your computer forever invisible onthe world wide web. He was just in the processof working up the courage to download andinstall it.

The Droppas? What kind of wacky ass name isthat?, Odin replied amused, No. I have nothad the privilege of meeting the visitors.They are presently imprisoned on my home world

and are being interrogated by the evil supercomputer ZIPS which holds almost completedominion over Earth4.

Oh crap! Steve thought instantly. This isn'tgood. Now this is a conundrum, a word he hadjust discovered. Odin demanded to see Zeus.And after hearing Steve's somewhat short

My world Earth4was a virtual paradise until ZIPS was createdand then enslaved man with her insanity. told me it seems that the only assistance Imay garner here is from your incompetentrulers seeing as your 'Droppas' seem to nothave the necessary strength no matter hownoble their hearts may beat.

Steve relaxed. He was sold. But at the sametime he had serious doubts about having Gatessend an army through to Odin's planet. Thatwouldn't go over too too smoothly. What otherchoice did they have he wondered?

resistance in way of military might. Shewanted to meet this ZIPS character. Alicebeing a being that needed no sleep spent allnight planning a freedom force to send throughthe IDTM to rescue Earth4 from the apparentgrasp of evil that held it's citizens in achoke hold of injustice and servitude. Sherather agreed with Steve that Gates shoulddefinitely not become involved. She had triedto block Gates access to the Droppas forumsbut she doubted she was successful. Time wasof the essence. They had to send their'Freedom Force', as she began to refer to theeffort in her own mind, through the portalwithin the next day or two. Luckily Gates didnot know the location of the IDMT but thatwould change. And she would have to find it'slocation for him because he still held thevast majority of her processing power and

The staff at the Regina Google clinichad never heard of Ra except as a some sort ofmythical persona in the ancient Egyptianpantheon. Zeus was outraged. Either Ra waskeeping his personality hidden from the worldor something had happened to him and thisworld had somehow grown to this confused statewithout any guidance. Which would explain whyeverything on the planet was built by eitherGoogle or Apple, two companies Zeus and thegreat Gates clone family clan had totallydismantled early in the second decade of the21st century. They had been here for 3 days

now and they were assured that after the i Funthey had taken fully left their system theywould be allowed to leave. The Google licenseddoctors were perplexed never having seen sucha long i Fun trip or such an intense sharedhallucination between 4 individuals. Theyconvinced themselves that they must be on somesort of crazy cocktail of substances maybeeven some sort of inhibitor invented by apirate lab. i Fun was definitely involved as

was typically seen in shared grouphallucinations nearing this order ofmagnitude.

Ra was instantly nervous, he didn't want tohear this. He had done a fair amount of i Funin the past few months.

Kwame paused he thought this was extremelyentertaining. He was not a fan of Apple'sattempt to hook the entire planet on their

pseudo hallucinogenic products. The masses ofhumanity were becoming totally removed fromreality. VR was bad enough. This was worse. Itdidn't bode well for the future.

"Well that's interesting" Ra replied deep inthought somewhat uneasily, "So what's theirshared hallucination? They must of been

Kwame answered his question and after he didso Ra spit the sandwich he had been chewingstraight out on to the conference holo screen.

"OK. Get this. Dun da da dun. They're from aparallel dimension."

Blaaaaah the ham and cheese sandwich flewthrough the air, splat all over the screen. Rareached for a towel and cleaned most of itoff.

Kwame was perturbed, wondering suddenly if Ra

had i Fun addiction issues, but after Ra'sencouragement continued, "One of themcalls himself Zeus there's another whosecyborg and there are two clones one of Stevenhawking the disabled physicist and the otherof Tom Cruise the late twentieth century moviestar"

Kwame waited for Ra to laugh. He had reviewedsome of the interview footage and thought itextremely hilarious.

Ra thought for a moment then replied not veryamused at all, "OK. Send them to me"

Kwame answered immediately obviously confused,OK. Are u sure that's best?"

"Kwame the world as we know it has now changed

forever"

Yea we're going to have to diminish Apple'spowers big time after this I suppose., Kwamereplied thoughtfully.

Kwame. This isn't the only planet Earth.There are 13 parallel dimensions.

Ra explained the mythology to Kwame. And afterthis talk Kwame started to think of himself assomething even bigger and more important than:chief engineer for the great Google ColonyShip. He was now Ra's right hand man and onlyconfidant. The world had changed. And therewould now be no going back.

Menial tasks such as farm labourwere completely automated and scientificallyanalyzed which freed humanity to live in blissexercising their ability to truly forge theirown destinies. Education was of course freeand the love of learning extended everywhere.Most humans were constantly enrolled in somesort of educational program, their love oflearning and self discovery providing theirgreatest joys. Buildings themselves grewout of Nano engineered cubes organically that

gave architecture on Earth4 a truly naturaland vibrant aesthetic. Even the rebelliouswere offered an open door back into societyonly having to agree to the principles ofcooperation. The only shortcoming to all thisas far as the Droppas saw it was the fact thatthe planet was left completely open to anattack by a parallel dimension.

The Droppas own personal computational deviceswhile seeming archaic to the sophistication onthis planet were by 2010 standards extremelyfuturistic. The entire history of Earth3 wasembedded on their PDAs and was uploaded intoZIPS for analysis. ZIPS upon almost instantlydigesting all available information realizedthat sending the god Odin through the portalto Earth3 was not as wise as first thought.

The planet of Earth4 immediately beganpreparations to defend itself. It's efficiencywas stupendous. Within 2 days the whole planetdedicated itself 100% to the 89% inevitabilityof an inter dimensional attack. If earth3thought that earth4 would be easy pickingsthey would be sadly mistaken. The Droppashoped. Earth4 was the key to their own

fight against oppression and environmentaldestruction even though ZIPS could notforecast any easily implemented solutions fortheir world's freedom.

Noah walked along the causeway to the ZIPSmain interpertational hub with his colleaguesJane, Janet, and Felipe. The Droppas hadbecome international superstars and everyoneeverywhere they went wanted to interact withthem and wish them success in theirendeavours. It was breathtaking. People aroundthe world emulated the famous Droppas teamcheer after having seen them live ontelevision repeatedly in the last few days.

The infamous Droppas IDMT strike force walkedwith pride through a beautifully landscapedcauseway laced with the sights, sounds andsmells of beautiful wildflowers and vibrantlyhealthy herbs. The pathway itself was a walkthrough mint and coriander that left themfeeling energized and estatic with every stepthey took.

The ZIPS attendants were waiting patiently onZIPS to announce her latest predictions. TheDroppas crew walked through the large opengateway to the central dome and marveled oncemore at the natural beauty of it all. Birdswere everywhere and their songs blended inwith the street musicians far below randomlymeeting creating a polyrhythmic improvised jamdedicated to the beauties of creation. Noah

felt elated as did the rest of the Droppasteam he thought assuredly.

They had all voluntarily elected to have thenano organisms injected through laser intotheir brains which would one day grow intofully fledged internal supercomputers. Afteronly one day they already felt a level of

awareness that far surpassed their previousstates of consciousness. Kind of like beinghigh on magic mushrooms but without theaccompanying chaos and paranoia. In fact itwas like having heightened sensory perceptionwith more organizational capacity. Everythingmade more sense and was completely organizedallowing their brains to exist deeply in arelaxed state of awareness taking in externalstimuli at an astonishing rate almost likewalking slo mo with a watermelon grin.

Just as the Droppas walked in the dome thathoused the ZIPS main interface thesupercomputer ZIPS finally spoke. The ZIPS

attendants looked at the travelers humblyentering and then back at the ZIPS holoscreen with great humility, their spiritselated at being chosen by ZIPS herself to beher personal attendants.

"Travelers", she spoke with intenseintelligence and over powering kindness thatbrought tears to their eyes, "Our planet needsyou to travel to your planet and acquire theplans for your so called IDMT machine. Weshall contact Earth5. The fate of our planetrests in your hands. Our ability to defendourselves without assistance may 69% byall available data prove to be insufficient.Go forward now. With the goodness in ourhearts let us be victorious against the forcesof darkness and ignorance!"

And thus the Droppas found themselves floatingon the ocean above the portal, their entranceinto to Earth3, waiting for the IDMT techSteve, Noah's high school buddy, to open theportal back to their home world. When theportal finally opened they were transportedvia submersible craft deep into the ocean.They swam through the portal created by the
