Thursday 18 July: Arrive in Brisbane (D) This morning fly from your home city to Brisbane where you will transferred to your hotel. This evening join the rest of your group for your Welcome Dinner at the hotel. Overnight: ibis Styles Brisbane (2 nights)

Friday 19 July: City Sights & Surrounds (BL) After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel for a half day sightseeing tour of Brisbane. Drive through the South Bank Parklands, Fortitude Valley and Chinatown and take in the views of the city from Mt Coot-tha, before returning to Eagle Street Pier to enjoy lunch. The rest of the day and evening is at your leisure.

Saturday 20 July: Brisbane to Fraser Island (BD) This morning transfer to Roma Street Station where you will board the Tilt Train, and travel north to Maryborough West. Here you will be met, and transferred by coach to the ferry terminal for your crossing to Fraser Island. Late this evening enjoy a buffet dinner at the Resort.Overnight: King Fisher Bay Resort (3 nights)

Sunday 21 July: 4WD Beauty Spots Tour (BL)Today discover Fraser Island on your 4WD tour, with highlights including Lake McKenzie, the Maheno Shipwreck and Seventy-Five Mile Beach. A sumptuous buffet lunch is also inlucded. This evening, meet the group for sunset drinks, and the rest of the night is free to dine at your own choice of restaurant.

Monday 22 July: Fraser Island (BD) Today is much more leisurely, with the option for a late breakfast. Mid morning, join one of the Rangers on a guided Walk and Talk, or enjoy the facilities of the resort. There’s time to relax by the pool before your Bush Tucker Talk and Taste tour. Tonight enjoy a lovely two course dinner at Seabelle Restaurant.

Tuesday 23 July: Fraser Island to Spirt of Queensland (BD) Enjoy a later breakfast before catching the ferry back to the mainland. There will be free time to explore Hervey Bay, and later this afternoon you will be transferred to Maryborough West Station to meet up with Spirit of Queensland for you rail journey north. Enjoy dinner, and settle into your comfortable Rail Bed. Overnight: Spirit of Queensland

Wednesday 24 July: Arrive Townsville (BLD) Enjoy an early breakfast before arriving into Townsville, where you will be met and taken on a sightseeing tour. Discover the hidden

secrets of the town as you explore from the Riverway precinct to Thornton’s Gap in the mountains. Enjoy lunch at the historic Tea Rooms before returning to your hotel, with the afternoon free. This evening dinner is a delicious banquet at Miss Songs. Overnight: The Ville Resort-Casino (3 nights)

Thursday 25 July: Reef HQ Aquarium (BL) This morning you will be transferred to the Reef HQ, the world’s largest living reef aquarium, and where you can experience the Great Barrier Reef without getting wet. Enjoy lunch there, and return to your hotel. This evening is free for you to enjoy dinner at your leisure.

Friday 26 July: Magnetic Island (BLD) Today enjoy a full day tour on Magnetic Island. Visit the many bays of the island, including Horseshoe Bay, and lunch at Picnic Bay Hotel. This evening there’s a special group dinner at The Pier Restaurant.

Saturday 27 July: Townsville to Cairns (BD) Early this morning you will be transferred to Townsville Station to catch the Spirit of Queensland for your final rail journey to Cairns. On arrival you will be transferred to your accommodation, where you will enjoy dinner tonight. Overnight: Novotel Cairns Oasis (3 nights)

Sunday 28 July: Cairns (B) Today is a totally free day for you to enjoy at your leisure. Perhaps you may like to take a cruise out to the Barrier Reef, or join a 4WD tour to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest. Both tours can be pre-booked for you prior to departure. Tonight for dinner you can explore the Cairns restaurants at your leisure.

Monday 29 July: Kuranda, Skyrail & Tjapukai (BD)Board the historic Kuranda Railway for a breathtaking journey to Freshwater Station, where you will have free time to explore the village and markets. Then ride the Skyrail Cableway above Barron Gorge National Park. Finish the day with a visit to the award-winning Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, where the legends of dreamtime are brought to life. This evening join your group for a special farewell dinner.

Tuesday 30 July: Cairns to Home City (B) Today concludes your Rail Adventure through Queensland. After breakfast you will be transferred to the Cairns Airport to connect with your flight to your home city.
