Here’s another Berry Oak-ley bass line. And another Allman Brothers tune from their first album. The more I listen to the early Allman Brothers, the more I wonder what ‘might have been’ if Duane Allman and Berry Oakley hadn’t been killed in their separate mo-torcycle accidents.

ally what I usually listen to, I’ve been listening to the Allman Brothers a lot recently. Don’t Want You More is simpler than Black Hearted Woman, but it’s still a nice little tune.

In fact it’s substantially easier to play and I recommend that you buy the song from Amazon if you don’t already have it and try learning and play-ing along iwth this. It’s fun to play along to!

Although this is a fairly simple minor type blues, there is a section - Let-ter B - where the feel switches from the lazy, swing 8th note feel of the rest of the tune to straight 8th note feel. And it switches back a few bars later! So watch out for that. Don’t be afraid to practice those transitions too!
