The CUNY Campaign for Voluntary Charitable Giving

Message from Chancellor James B. Milliken

To The City University of New York Community,

Every year The CUNY Campaign for Voluntary Charitable Giving helps New Yorkers in need accessa range of critical services. Donations to the campaign from the CUNY community help improve the health, education, and well-being of our friends and neighbors across the five boroughs. It provides an opportunityfor all of us to make a positive impact on our community. For more than 30 years, CUNY faculty and staffhave responded enthusiastically to this annual call for support. It is a tradition to be proud of, and yourgenerosity is greatly appreciated.

The contributions of the CUNY family during last year’s campaign totaled over $400,000. Nearly half ofthose funds went to campus-based charities that support valuable programs at our colleges, includingscholarship funds, child development centers and arts programs. Your assistance also will improve healthand education programs that foster the well-being of New Yorkers. Your continued support will makethese services available in the coming year.

Please join me in supporting The CUNY Campaign and make a difference in the lives of our friends andneighbors.

James B. MillikenChancellor
