SENDONG (International Name: W ASHI) RESPON SECagayan de Oro - Iligan

PROGRAM MANAGER. Fixed Term  Reports to the Emergency Team Leader. Manages the project team as well as represents SCI in key

meetings with donors and other stakeholders

  Leads the program unit in achievement of program goals for Cagayan de Oro / Iligan response areas.

  Manage project components including: Child Protection, WASH, cash-for-work/livelihoods, schoolimprovement, distribution and logistics work.

  Formulates and implements program response to targeted disadvantaged communit ies. Ensuresharmonization and coordination of all programs / projects in the area as to output delivery, impact totarget communities and children, and against donor requirements.

  Assists in initial stages of working with local implementing partners as needed.

EDUCATION OFFICER. Fixed Term  Reports to the Program Manager

  Provides program direction in education in emergency context  Provide thought leadership in education in emergency and appropriate education interventions for

short and mid-term

  Represents SCI ad liaises with key government groups, education cluster, other NGOs of the area

  Obtain and share relevant and up-to-date education in emergency information and advocates theappropriate education interventions

  Assists in initial stages of working with local implementing partners as needed.

DISTRIBUTION AGENT. Fixed Term  Registration of beneficiaries including coordinating logistics arrangements, leading in registration and continuing

monitoring and updating of movement of family, individual, children population/headcount; may assist incommunity preparation before actual registration or distr ibution

  Preparation of commodity distribution and logistics plans including: dispatch authorization memos and logs,obtaining signatures of highest ranking officer of concerned field office and coordination for transportationarrangements ensuring timely delivery and distribution; arranges for correct rations to intended recipients

  Distribution of commodities to beneficiaries including: coordination with community leaders and relief groups;ensuring the site is clean and adequate to accommodate the population who will crowd at the site’ arranging forcrowd control barriers, display of visible signs at the distribution centers, and arranging for security as needed;setting distribution timetable and informing recipients / beneficiaries through community leaders; may conductrandom checking of family rations, setting up scales, scoops and scoopers as needed; ensures balances aresecured in originating or secured temporary storage

  Submitting distribution reports detailing numbers of beneficiaries and commodities, reporting immediately anylosses while intransit; Reporting information necessary for humanitarian assistance including: general situation ofhumanitarian assistance, population movement, security incidents, unusual events; distr ibution reports;

commodity balances/ any losses or potential risks  Establishing rapport with the affected and targeted communities

LOGISTICS ASSISTAN T. Fixed Term  Observe logistics, procurement, stock management and overall supply chain, and stock management standards

and procedures; observe security and safety processes; observe efficient, safe and cost-effective methods

  Responsible for inventory records on stock receipt, dispatch and reconciliation; this may include daily recordsand updated for stock movement, warehouse delivery and receipt schedule, filing of delivery receipts andreturns, delivery summary of procured to facilitate payment and weekly stock movement report

  Ensure stock management and administration systems are implemented. Monitor projects stock levels and adviseon appropriate stocking and replenishment to meet project demands.

  Responsible for assets account ing, maintaining an accurate asset register and updating inventory valuation;
