• Questions: high quality simulation

• Tests with difficulty level and contents strictly similar to certification level

• Access through Client and Code: track students performance

To start the education program, the system suggests students take an Assessment test, to measure the skill level in ICT Literacy.

Step 1: Assessment

2 November 2010

6

• According to results, the system suggests what lessons to follow and which exercises to do to enhance their knowledge.

It becomes candidate’s “to do list” and it’s automatically updated according to students activities

After 1 , results are sent to the central system, students receive the detailed performance analysis and the system proposes a study plan tailored to their needs. A facilitator can be on hand to assist students

Step 2: Planning

• Detailed performance reports by module, illustrating to users their current performance level and learning gaps

Skills Evaluation Planning Useful tool to address students according to skills level

1. Initial “mass” assessment and skill map identification (by ICDL Module)

“exam ready” level

“intermediate ” level(self-learning)

“basic” level (standard blended/

class training)

2.a.

2.b.

2.c.

3.

No wasting time going through learning process for the specific Module, but direct access to Test Center (fast track for enrollment to exam session)

Focus on suggested knowledge areas to effectively close gaps: efficiency and time saving

Funneled to traditional learning with tutors (eventually integrated with self-learning tools)

4.Official certification exam at Test Center

Post-training assessment as level of preparation check

• Simulation of the real use of applications

• Immediate feedback to each confirmed answer

Not a simple book… … a courseware integrated to a learning platform

Not a standard methodology…

… a personalized learning material, tailored to users needs

Not a “static”/Theory-based proposal…

… high quality tools supported by interactive and realistic contents

Not a “push approach… … an effective control of students improvements

Not a “lonely” learning path…

… a way to share experiences with other students
