The reflector is CFRP / Compression Molded GFRP material. It has inherent closely placed rib structure on the back of reflector to give enhanced strength for wind loading and also maintain the required parabolic shape for Ku band application. The reflector has excellent reflectivity for Ku-band application. The mount is manufactured using CNC machined Aluminum section to provide rigid support to the reflector for good pointing accuracy required for Ku -band beam-width. The Sumeru 1.2 m Trans-receive antenna is designed and

manufactured for enduring conditions.

ACS300A Antenna Control System is a Micro controller-based system which is designed to control drive away antenna.

The Controller is used for Antenna Positioning towards the Satellite. The system also works with various operating modes like

> Target degree

> Manual JOG

> Auto Track

> LOCAL mode.

The Antenna Control System provides 3 axis control of the antenna.

The system is highly reliable for Accurate Antenna Positioning with User Friendly Operational Interface.

Operating ModesStandby Mode:Controller is in antenna halt state and waits for the user command to initiate required operation. Status and Health data are available

on ACU Screen The Antenna can be operated to any other mode from Standby Mode

Manual Local mode:In Manual Mode, User can manually operate either of 3 axes of the antenna. Azimuth Axis can be Operated by Push Buttons or Joy Stick

from antenna control unit in Clock Wise or Counter Clock Wise Direction.Elevation Axis can be operated by Push Buttons or Joy Stick

from antenna control unit in Up or Down Direction. Polarization Axis can be operated by Push Buttons or Joy Stick from antenna control

unit in Up or Down Direction. The ACU continuously looks for the Limits and stop the respective axis as soon as the

driving direction limit is detected. The controller will disable the same direction for motor but reverse direction will still be enabled.

Target degree mode:In this mode user need to enter target antenna degree of AZ, EL and POL, antenna will automatically point to that targeted angle with

respect to current angle.

Designate mode:In this mode user need to select any satellite from pre-stored satellite list.Once the satellite selected antenna will automatically calcu-

late angles and point to the targeted angles w.r.t Lat and Long of antenna. In this mode integrated step mode will be activated if BTR is

connected to ACU, so once the antenna pointed to the calculated angles of selected satellite, it will scan antenna in -/+5

degree and will be parked at max beacon signal then will start step track from this location and park antenna to the peak level.

Auto Track modeIn this mode antenna will try to find the peak signal after some time interval and advance mode it will try to point the antenna if beacon

signal will fall down from some desired value.

Manual JOG modeIn this mode user can control antenna from Touch screen in individual axes using GUI by pressing buttons.In this mode user can operate

antenna in two different speeds. Higher and lower in AZ and EL and single speed in POL.
