Review Coloring Sheets Script

Print at least one each of the six coloring sheets. Give one of the illustrations to each of the students. If you have more than six students, some will have the same picture. Students will color the Lesson Illustrations 1–6 from Lesson 11, then stand in order according to the number on their coloring sheet—1 to 6. Review Lesson 11 briefl y using the coloring sheets and the following script.

1. � e Philistines were a mean and very large army. � ey were coming against the Israelites.

2. � ey had 30,000 chariots to attack with!

3. � e Bible said they had 6,000 horsemen! Ready to fi ght!

4. All the people were afraid! � ey ran and hid.

5. King Saul wondered what to do.

6. King Saul was supposed to wait for Samuel! But everyone was afraid, and they had to make the sacrifi ce to

get God’s protection. King Saul disobeyed and made the sacrifi ce without Samuel. He disobeyed God! God

took the kingdom away from him. � ere would be a new king!
