During this period there were 197 calls for service received at the Nome Police Com-munications Center; 44 (22%) of these calls in-volved alcohol. The Nome Volunteer Ambulance Department responded to 15 ambulance calls. The Nome Volunteer Fire Department responded to 7 fire calls during this period. NPD responded to 12 calls reporting intoxi-cated persons needing assistance. Nobody was remanded to AMCC as protective hold; and 1 person remained at the hospital for med-ical evaluation/treatment. The City of Nome will receive sealed bids to perform construction activities to replace the inner harbor launch ramp structure at the Port of
Nome in Nome, Alaska.
Interested persons may receive a bid package by registering with the City Clerk by email at [email protected], phone at 907-443-6663 or by fax at 907-443-5345. Bid Documents will be available February 25, 2021

The deadline for submission of sealed proposals is March 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. local time and shortly thereafter the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids must be submitted to the City Clerk at City Hall. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked clearly on the envelope as “Port of Nome Launch Ramp Replacement” along with the name and address of the Bidder. Fax submissions are not allowed.
A five per cent bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will also be required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified Bidder as determined by the City. The City of Nome reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
