Sarah Webb 12-09-10 Teacher Cadet Today was my nineteenth day as a teacher cadet. Today was also a pretty normal day. Whenever I walked into the office today to sign in one of my students was in there waiting with his mom. Whenever he spotted me he loudly told his mom that I was the teacher he was always talking about. He then told me that he saw me last night at the sports award ceremony. This made my day that he liked me so much that he talks about me at home and even wanted to tell me that he saw me somewhere else other than at school like normal. After that I went onto class and sat with Miss Robbins for a few minutes until the bell rang. Whenever the students started coming in she told me to go ahead and start checking their homework folders. To do this I take all of the folders and look to see if they did their homework or not. If they did most of it, it also counts as doing it. I also check for notes from parents because they normally put them in the student’s homework folder if they need to get something to the teacher. Almost all of them are really good about getting their homework done and I normally don’t have any who just don’t do it at all. I do have a few every day that leaves their folders at home because they forgot it. The last thing that I did before I left today was take the students to their activity which was computer lab today. Whenever I got to the lab there was no teacher in there. So I told me students to go ahead and get started with whatever was on the board. Thankfully they all knew what they were doing and got started with everything as soon as they walked in. Unfortunately I had to wait about twenty minutes for the teacher to finally get back into her room. Other than having to wait so long for the teacher today was a pretty good day.

Sarah Webb 12-09-10 Teacher Cadet

Today was my nineteenth day as a teacher cadet. Today was also a pretty normal day.

Whenever I walked into the office today to sign in one of my students was in there waiting with

his mom. Whenever he spotted me he loudly told his mom that I was the teacher he was

always talking about. He then told me that he saw me last night at the sports award ceremony.

This made my day that he liked me so much that he talks about me at home and even wanted

to tell me that he saw me somewhere else other than at school like normal. After that I went

onto class and sat with Miss Robbins for a few minutes until the bell rang. Whenever the

students started coming in she told me to go ahead and start checking their homework folders.

To do this I take all of the folders and look to see if they did their homework or not. If they did

most of it, it also counts as doing it. I also check for notes from parents because they normally

put them in the student’s homework folder if they need to get something to the teacher.

Almost all of them are really good about getting their homework done and I normally don’t

have any who just don’t do it at all. I do have a few every day that leaves their folders at home

because they forgot it. The last thing that I did before I left today was take the students to their

activity which was computer lab today. Whenever I got to the lab there was no teacher in there.

So I told me students to go ahead and get started with whatever was on the board. Thankfully

they all knew what they were doing and got started with everything as soon as they walked in.

Unfortunately I had to wait about twenty minutes for the teacher to finally get back into her

room. Other than having to wait so long for the teacher today was a pretty good day.
