Endurance racing, regatta sailing and watches have been closely connected worlds for decades. These worlds have been a great inspiration to us. The quality and lasting durability of our watches are the result from the lessons we learned from endurance racing and re-gatta sailing. We added a no nonsense Dutch design and luxury flavor to the highly detailed Swiss made move-ment and watch case.

The result: an homage to en-durance: a Dutch designed, Swiss made, affordable yet luxurious timepiece!

Kloc Uhrwerk watches are manufactured in a factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Swit-zerland. All components are produced and assembled in this factory, ensuring the “Swiss made” acknowledged quality.

Our company, owned by The Koppelmans family, found its inspiration back in the early nineties. When driving on a racetrack or sailing the ocean we find inspiration in the required precision, endurance and quality. By trying again and again and again, we get the result

we want. Danny Koppelmans, the current owner, takes this to the next level with his creative marketing know-how. Keeping the brand a family company ensures its stability and independence. And it lays down the path for the next generation.

La Chaux-de-Fonds is a Swiss city in the district of La Chaux-de-Fonds in the canton of Neuchâtel. It is located in the Jura moun-tains at an altitude of a 1000 metres, a few kilometers south of the French border. After Geneva and Lausanne, it is the third largest city located completely in Suisse Romande, the Frenchspeak-ing part of the country. La Chaux-de-Fonds is the most important center of

the watch making industry in the area known as the Watch Valley.

In 2009, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle, its sister city, have jointly been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status for their exceptional universal value.

The number typography of race cars is designed in such a way that the numbers can still be read while cars pass by at high speeds.

Inspired by race car num bering. The combination of its thickness and size en-sures the logo remains readable when applied on a moving car. It gives the logo its sporty charisma.

APPLICATION OF THE BRAND THE ICON

The 4 o’clock [the start of the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1970], is angled at 120°, which is at 30° from the 3 o’clock. These 30° are used in the letter design. To make the letters aerodynamic, just like race cars and yachts are. And again, for preserving the sporty charisma.

The Icon is the letter “K” of Kloc Uhrwerk. It will be applied on labels and details and it supports the overall brand presence of Kloc Uhrwerk.
