In recent times weve been talking about all the creative people weve worked with in Panarts since 1992. With seed funding from The Arts Council, we started a new type of festival eleven years ago to put songwriters centre stage and to celebrate the art of song writing.

We continue to be surprised by the songs being written here at home. So many talented artists creating beautiful music, entertaining people night after night and helping to sustain jobs in bars, restaurants, radio stations, the film & TV industry, instrument makers...and they all deserve to be encouraged and supported. The arts are important and they enrich our lives.

We hope youll come out to hear great original live music performed in 40 concerts, showcases, BelNash Songtech with Dawsons and in our Song Writing Convention. Were very excited to be working with Music City Roots Nashville to make a television special to be broadcast into 60 million homes across America. Our sponsor, Dawsons Music, have arranged for various demonstrators such as Gibson, Yamaha, Farida, Marshall, Roland, DAddario, Evans and Avalon guitars to come and support the festival along with giving product demonstrations on Saturday 7th March, 10am to 5pm.

These demonstrations will be accompanied by live music on the Yamaha Sound Stage @Songtech featuring a wide selection of wonderful musicians from 11am-5pm at The

Academy, 2nd Floor of Holiday Inn Belfast on Ormeau Avenue.

Ray and Nick from Gibson will be on hand with a great selection of models including a range of 2015 electric models along with some classic acoustics such as the J-45 and J-200 series.

Steve from Marshall amplifiers which be delighting the audience with a rich insight to the latest designs and explain with the help of Dean guitar specialist with Dawsons how you can achieve great tone everytime when you need it using these fantastic amplifiers.

The Bluebird Caf Nashville has gained worldwide recognition as the place where the people behind the hits perform their songs. In 2012 it made its debut on the hit television series Nashville and is a key factor in the plotline. The Bluebird Show @BelNash features Nashville hit writers Don Henry and Max T Barnes who will be joined by local songwriters Sara Crockett and Niamh McGlinchey.

Grammy Award winner Don Henrys songs have been recorded by iconic performers including Ray Charles, Gene Watson and more recently Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

Max T. Barnes has had nine number 1 hits and has written songs on albums that have sold over 20 million records! His songs have been recorded by artists including George Jones, Randy Travis and Trace Atkins.

In 2013 we chose Sara Crockett as support to Nanci Griffith and then brought her to Nashville where she performed in The Bluebird. Sara writes memorable catchy songs and in 2014 was nominated at the British Country Music Awards.

Rising star Niamh McGlinchey writes great story songs and in 2014 she released her much acclaimed debut album. As well as a successful solo artist, Niamh has been touring with Nathan Carter.
