Upon arrival I spoke to Mrs. Jennifer Dean concerning a broken window. Mrs. Dean stated that she heard her neighbor's window at apt B break. When she went to check on her neighbor, she found that her bedroom window was broken and a rock was laying on the ground below the window. No suspect information was given at the time of incident. On 11/26/2017 at 00:55 hours, I Officer Nelson (66968) responded to a Vandalism call at 2300 E 4th St apt A. Upon arrival I spoke to Mrs. Jennifer Dean concerning a broken window. Mrs. Dean stated that she heard her neighbor's window at apt B break. When she went to check on her neighbor, she found that her bedroom window was broken and a rock was laying on the ground below the window. No suspect information was given at the time of incident.

Both parties had been drinking. At some point there was an argument over Mr. Hicks phone. Ms. Fenn stated that she was leaving the residence and left the scene with a friend without incident.

She stated that the guy she was riding with, Mr. Antione Hamilton B/M aka Cornbread, drove off with her belongings. Police located Mr. Hamilton in the lobby of the hotel. He stated he was waiting there for her to come get her stuff. Ms. Brown collected her belongings and Mr. Hamilton left without incident. Nothing further at this time.

He says that sometime between 0400 and 0700 this morning, an unknown party entered his unlocked 2003 Toyota Camry and stole his wallet and his 22cal. firearm. On 11/26/2017 at 13:55 hours, Officer T. McFarland (62203) responded to a Shoplifting at 3251 Rossville Blvd. I spoke with the cashier, Amber Yerden, who claimed a black female wearing a white sweat shirt and a pocket book walked out of the store carrying two bags of groceries that were not paid for. Mrs. Yerden saw her leave the parking lot in a white impala with a temporary tag. It is unknown what the suspect took or how much. Police patrolled the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Police have no further suspect information or leads at the time of the report.

On 11/26/2017 at 16:25 hours, Officer Smith, Zachary (77584) reported a memo at 6589 Cassie Ln. Upon arriving to the disorder I made contact with the complainant Michelle Walker who stated her husband James Walker had been staying with her for the holidays and he had been drinking and she would like him to leave. Mr. Walker was not on scene at the time of my arrival. Ms. Walker further stated he had been arrested in the past and she didn't want any police action taken against him, that she just wanted him to leave until he sobered up. Mr. Walker was already gone and the issue was resolved. Nothing follows.

On 11/26/2017 at 16:45 hours, Officer Smith, Zachary (77584) reported a memo at 6749 Ardis Ln. The call initially came in as a disorder from an anonymous caller. Upon arriving I searched the area and was unable to locate a victim. I spoke to several neighbors who pointed me to an address that had been known for disorders, but none had seen anything. I was unable to make contact at the address either. With no victim or crime, no further action was required. Nothing follows.

On 11/26/2017 at 16:50 hours, Officer Cooke (78367) responded to a Property Found at 3111 Wheeler Ave. Upon Police arrival, Police spoke with Mr. Eric Phinazee who stated that he was doing yard work and discovered a handgun buried in his yard. Mr. Phinazee stated that the firearm did not belong to him. Police could determine that the firearm was a firestorm 1911 government 45 AUTO but were unable to read the serial number do to the rusty condition of the firearm. Police submitted the firearm to the Chattanooga Property Division for safe keeping using property # 17-4988. Police have nothing further at this time. EOR.

On 11/26/2017 at 18:50 hours, Officer Robertson (0062212) responded to a Theft of Vehicle Parts/Accessories at 1202 Poplar St. Between the hours of 1600-1800 this date an unknown suspect stole from Destiny Mitchell's vehicle at the above address. The tag was entered into NCIC, NIC P176416652.

On 11/26/2017 at 22:40 hours, Officer Buttry (60658) responded to a stolen MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 4107 Clio Ave. Officer Buttry spoke with a Mr. Humberto Sales and took a report that at approximately 22:30 hours, his Toyota Camry was stolen. Mr. Sales did not see the car theft take place and has no clue as to the suspect. Police took the information and reported the vehicle to NCIC (V199759838) and placed a BOLO for the vehicle.

On the 27th of November 2017 at 0023 Officer Lynch was dispatched to a suspicious activity call at 23 N Germantown Rd. Upon arrival Police located a 97 Toyota Accord green in color parked behind the car wash with a male party standing outside the vehicle and a female party sitting the passenger side of the vehicle. Police got out with the parties and they identified themselves as Johnathan Airks and Lara Hughes. They stated they ran out of gas and were just about to put some gas into the vehicle. Police did observe a fuel can beside the side of the car. Police ran their information and didnt locate any outstanding warrants. With no further reason to be out with the parties, Police cleared the scene. No further.

On 11/27/2017 at 00:40 hours, Officer Branam (70776) reported a memo at 1507 Hickory Valley Rd. The anonymous caller stated that they heard a male and a female arguing in the parking lot near this address. On arrival, I located the disorder. Mr. Joshua Rollins and Ms. Taylor Leigh stated that they were intoxicated and were in a verbal disorder. Mr. Rollins called for a taxi and Ms. Leigh went inside her apartment.

On 11/27/2017 at 03:30 hours, Officer Justin Brumbaugh (66622) reported a memo at 1914 Gunbarrel Rd. A caller reported to the on-site security person that Dezmon Lomnick and Lavette Penn were in a disorder. Carl Caldwell, the security guard, reported that he saw the two arguing and shoving each other but said they weren't throwing punches. He asked Lomnick to wait for police to arrive and Lomnick complied. We assisted him in getting his clothes from the room when we arrived. Penn was gone and Lomnick had nothing more to report.

On 11/27/2017 at 08:15 hours, Officer Joshua L. Wright (0063087) responded to a Property Found at 3410 Amnicola Hwy. An anonymous party turned in the listed wallet to the service center. Police as well as dispatch attempted to contact Harmon, but he did not answer the call. Harmon shows a possible warrant at the time of this report. Wallet and its contents (ID and regions bank card) were turned into property under #17-4997.

On 11/27/2017 at approximately 11:45 police responded to a report of abandoned vehicle, 6700 West Point Drive. Upon arrival police located the described white Datsun truck (VIN: JN6SD0653BWOO7527), parked along side the entrance to the subdivision which displayed improper Georgia Registration ). Police checked the VIN number through NCIC which was not entered as stolen. Police tagged the vehicle with a 48 notice of abandonment TCA 55-16-103.

On 11/27/2017 at 12:12 hours, Officer Garcia, Mauricio (80003) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 4116 13th Ave. I spoke to victim William Therrien via telephone and he said that on 11/27/2017 at 6:30 am he noticed that his 2005 Ford F150 (

) had been broken into. Rp noticed the rear window and front door were unlocked and his drill set and medication had been stolen. Rp last used the vehicle on 11/26/2017 at 9:30 pm. Nothing else was stolen . No damage was done to the vehicle.

On 11/27/2017 at 15:45 hours, Officer Warren (71993) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 934 Ely Rd. Upon arrival I made contact with Ms. Faunteroy, who stated she was backing the vehicle up when the back window made contact with the residence causing the window to break. No further.

This case was reviewed and will not have any suspect leads at this time; the victim was contacted and did not have any new information in the case. On 11/27/2017 at 16:43 hours, Officer McClard (71972) reported a memo at 1617 Wilcox Blvd. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Matthew West. He was working for Carter's towing doing a vehicle repossession at 1617 Wilcox Blvd. He stated he pulled up to repossess a maroon Ford Taurus ) when the owner, Madrinna Jennings came out and got into the vehicle. Mr. West had pulled his truck directly in front of the Taurus blocking it in. Mr. West and Ms. Jennings then began arguing. Ms. Jennings then pulled her car up, very closely to the tow truck ). Ms. Jennings stated she did not hit the truck but just got close. Mr. West stated he believed she hit the truck but did not see any damage. I did not observe any damage to the truck. The truck was very dirty but none of the dirt had been disturbed showing that it had not been contacted by the Taurus. Ms. Jennings stated her vehicle had various old damage on the front of which I did observe. Mr. West stated he had a video of the incident but the video did not show definitively that the car had struck the truck. Ms. Jennings did not have proof of insurance on her vehicle. Mr. West did have a valid insurance card (Progressive / Policy #038630051 / Effective Dates 7/25/17 - 7/25/18). Mr. West was instructed to come back with a repossession warrant to take the vehicle. Ms. Jennings remained on scene with her vehicle.

On 11/27/2017 at 19:11 hours, Officer CAVANAUGH (75376) responded to a Vandalism at 2525 De Sales Ave.

Upon arrival, I met with the complainant/victim, Shanika Wright. Ms. Wright stated that she was in the hospital, and when she returned to her vehicle in the parking lot, the rear windshield had been broken. Memorial Hospital security will be checking video and following up.

At this time there is no suspect information.

On 11/27/2017 at 19:50 hours, Officer Springer (66500) reported a memo at 6501 Ballard Dr. Upon arrival police spoke with Andrew Baker. He said his dog had run off around 5:00pm. He found out it was at 6692 Kenton Ridge Circle. When he went over to the residence no one came to the door. He was able to get a phone number for the resident at 6692 Kenton Ridge Circle. He sent a text about the dog. A response was sent saying McKamey had been contacted and they were told to hang onto the dog until 11/28/17 when someone from McKamey would come by to get the dog. Police relocated to 6692 Kenton Ridge Circle and spoke with James Rowe. He said some people came by knocking on his door that he did not know. He said the dog did not have any tags on it and did not want to give the dog over to the wrong person. He said McKamey had told him they would come by to get it the next day since the owner could not be confirmed. He asked if he could give the dog to police so they could return it to its owner. Police took the dog and returned it to 6501 Ballard Drive. Nothing further.

On 11/27/2017 at 20:02 hours, Officer CAVANAUGH (75376) responded to a Vandalism at 2501 Mccallie Ave.

Upon arrival, I spoke to the complainant/victim, Raun Swafford. Mr. Swafford stated that he was the manager of the apartment building at 2551 McCallie. He stated that upon arrival, he found that someone had damaged the north fence he had installed around the property by prying the bars apart. He also found 2 of the windows broken.

At this time there is no suspect information.

2 Market St17-114889 11/27/2017 7:10:00PM 240 MVT/Passenger Vehicle

On 11/28/17 Sgt. Davis contacted me about this case, the vehicle had been located and returned to the owner after it was discovered the vehicle was a private property tow and not a theft. Based on this information the case will be unfounded and will no longer be investigated by this unit.

On 11/27/2017 at 22:52 hours, Officer J. Blakley (78345) responded to a Vandalism at 2304 Windsor St. Upon arrival Officers met with Ashley Ward who stated that her boyfriend went out to her vehicle and seen that all four tires had been slashed. Police did notice cuts on the Dextero 225-60-16 tires. Ms. Ward stated that her and some neighbors(Mukisa Thompson/Dexter Barns had been involved in several verbal arguments both in person and via cellphone. She believes the neighbors to have been the suspects but has no evidence to prove her accusation. Ms. Ward stated it would cost her around $500 to get all four tires replaced on her vehicle. Nothing further at this time.

On 11/27/2017 at 23:30 hours, Officer Branam (70776) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 32 S Germantown Rd. The caller, a Ms. Alma Carver, stated that her vehicle had been broken into the previous night. She stated that she did not have time to call Police at the time of incident due to work. Ms. Carver stated that between the hours of 2100 and 0530, an unknown suspect broke out the driver side front window and took her wallet containing her driver's license and numerous credit cards. Ms. Carver stated that as she went through canceling the cards, the various companies told her that there were numerous charges from that day. Ms. Carver stated that she did not record these charges and did not have them available for Police at this time; however, she said that there were multiple charges that exceeded $200 or $300. There is no evidence to process at this time and there is no suspect information. Ms. Carver stated that she will attempt to gather more information in regards to the fraudulent use of her credit cards.

On 11/28/2017 at 06:48 hours, Officer Kennedy (70777) reported a disorder at 3904 16th Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with Ms Martha Johnson. She stated she was in a disorder with her boyfriend, but he left prior to police arrival. She refused to give his name and stopped cooperating with police.

On 11/28/2017 at 07:17 hours, Officer Keef (62195) reported a memo at 727 E 11th St. The subject, Michael Shane O'Berry, was involved in a verbal disorder inside the Community Kitchen. He left without further incident after he was cleared of any outstanding warrants. No further.

4613 Alabama Ave17-115007 11/27/2017 4:30:00PM 240 MVT/Motorcycle

On 11/28/2017 at 08:25 hours, Officer COBB (60660) responded to a MVT/Motorcycle at 4613 Alabama Ave. Graham Gilley ) reported his black 2011 Suzuki V-Strom 650 stolen sometime between yesterday 11-27-17 around 1630 hours and this morning about 0730 hours. Mr. Gilley stated that the motorcycle was parked on the street in front of this address. There was no suspect information at the time of the report. NIC # V399708525.

On 11/28/2017 at 10:52 hours, Officer Glenn, Clifton (60757) responded to a Property Lost at 1108 E 13th St. I spoke with Erica Hart via telephone. She says that yesterday around 1100 hours, she left her revoked driver license in her ex-boyfriend's (Marteec Tarkin) car. She says he spent the night with her. She says called him before calling CPD and says he told her that her driver license is not in his car. She says she wants a report on record in the event of identity theft.

Police later found that the vehicle was purchased by Ms. Mathis on 11-27-17. Ms. Mathis was able to get into the vehicle and leave the property as asked by the motel manager. No further needed.

Complainant stated he currently has CPS case active against the other parent and is documenting incidences. The post was made on facebook, under the name Boggieman. The complainant told police that this account belongs to Mr. Smith Sr. A picture of the posting was attached to the report. No other information was given at the time of report.

On 11/28/2017 at 15:58 hours, Officer Ellis (68393) reported a memo at 2227 E 23rd St. Upon arrival, police spoke to a Ms. Melanie Theisen who stated herself and her daughter Olivia Theisen had been in a verbal arguement because she cancelled her daughters eye appointment. During the arguement, Olivia Theisen opened her car door but immediately shut it back. Police asked Olivia why she did that and she stated that she didnt shut her door completely. Ms. Melanie Theisen stated that her daughter olivia did it because she is suicidal and wanted to harm herself. While talking to Olivia, police had no reason to believe that olivia had any intentions on harming herself. No further at this time.

On 11/28/2017 at 17:20 hours, Officer Warren (71993) reported a memo at 5313 School Dr. Upon arrival I made contact with the complainant, Ben Fishburn, who stated his father, Gregory Fishburn, was following him and pressuring him to call a counselor about his anger issue. Ben Fishsburn stated he did not feel like calling a counselor at this time, but only wanted his father to leave him alone because he was 18 years old. Ben Fishburn did not make any statements about hurting himself or others while I was speaking with him and he stated once his mother came and picked him up his stress level would be lower. Ben Fishburn was calm while speaking with me and was later picked up by his mother. No further police action was taken.

Mr. Collier was checked for warrants and did not have any. Mr. Collier was told by police to leave the area. Mr. Collier left the area with no problems.

On 11/28/2017 at 18:50 hours, I, MPO Ric Engle (60825) responded to a Theft from Building at 934 Runyan Dr. I arrived on scene and spoke to the victim, Catherine Carter.

The victim told me she let a woman whom she believes is Brandy Conner stay at her house for about a month because Ms Conner told the victim she was homeless. During the time Ms Conner stayed at the residence the listed items in this report were stolen. The victim discovered the theft after Ms Conner left the home. The victim did not see Ms Conner take the property, but she suspects she did.

I ran the suspect's name through several search engines, but did not find a match. I told the victim if Ms Conner returned to call police. No other police action taken.

On 11/28/2017 at 18:35 hours, Officer Parda #1101 responded to suspicious activity at 4016 Alexis Cir. Upon arrival I spoke with Terrino Elston who is the resident at this address. Ms. Elston stated that she works from home, and at 0900 this morning she heard noise outside of her home. Ms. Elston looked through the blinds and saw 2 black males walk around her car and acting suspicious. The 2 black males left the location on foot with no incident. Ms. Elston stated that as the day went on she decided she wanted to report the suspicious activity that occurred. Ms Elston provided a general description of the 2 male parties, but did not have any security video or any means for me to verify their identity. Due to that fact, no verifiable suspect information at this time.

We then relocated to 4343 Comet Trail to retrieve some personal items. While on scene at the residence, Mr. Sanford's residence, Mr. Sanford stated he did not log on to Ms. Spitzner's account and he did not want her or her friends back on his property after they collected the items and leave the area. Ms. Spitzner and her friends collected items without incident and left the area. No further police action was required.

On 11/28/2017 at 22:00 hours, Officer Kennedy (70777) responded to a Arson at 1503 E 40th St. Upon arrival an unknown vehicle was found to be completely covered in flames. After the fire was put out Fire contacted the Arson investigator. I spoke with the caller, Mr Thomas. He stated when he left Aztec and turned onto Divine Ave he observed a F150, unknown tag, parked next to a car with a small fire in it. He claimed there was a man standing next to the car, but when he saw Mr Hutson, he climbed back into the truck and took off South on Divine Ave. Mr Hutson was unable to give a better description of the F150 and the party due to being distracted by the fire. INV Moore, Car#650, with Arson responded and took command of the scene. After his investigation was complete United Transport #1 responded and transported the vehicle to their lot for safe keeping. No victim or vehicle owner was found.

Mr. Penn stated he was coming home from running some errands when he saw the black purse on his property. While collecting the items from the purse I was able to locate a letter that had an address of 1404 Kirby Ave. I drove to the victim's address and tried to make contact but no one answered. The purse and the misc. items within it were then taken to property. The purse is under property number 17-5019.

On 11/29/2017 at 10:25 hours, Officer Charles Bramlett (66966) responded to a Property Damage at 1110 Arlington Ave. Upon arrival police spoke to the caller John Reynolds who stated he was an employee for comcast and his work van was damaged by a forklift. Mr. Reynolds stated while he was working inside a residence near 1100 Arlington Ave his work van was parked outside near a construction site where work was being done. Mr. Reynolds stated he heard a loud noise and when he looked outside he noticed his work van had been struck by a forklift carrying building material. Mr. Reynolds stated his work van received damage to the rear door, and was insured by ACE insurance with policy number ISAH09063407. Police spoke to Thomas Clark an employee for North west Plumbing who stated one of his employees Thomas Brockman, was moving building materials with the forklift and did not see the work van. Thomas Clark stated he did not believe the forklift was damaged but that the Comcast work van received damage to the rear door. Thomas Clark stated North West Plumbing was insured with Waytts Insurance and their policy number was 60457416. All persons involved swapped information and left the scene without further incident. Nothing further to report.

She says that now she it trying to purchase another vehicle and the tag and title office is requiring a police report regarding the lost plate. Ms. Mateo says she did not keep a copy of the bill of sale or any of the paper work.

He stated that on 23 Nov. 2017, an unknown party used his Regions Bank VISA debit card information to make two (2) purchases online with Best Buy. He said those charges are $159.23 and $76.46. He says he has spoken with Regions bank and they are returning the money to his account and have canceled his debit card and are replacing it. Mr. Hurst says he does not know where or how his card number was compromised. Mr. Hurst says there was a third transaction online with newegg.com. He says the merchandise was shipped to his residence. Mr. Hurst says he has spoken with New Egg and they are picking up the merchandise which was two (2) microphones totaling $316.45. Mr. Hurst says all monies are being returned to his account.

On 11/29/2017 at 16:12 hours, Officer Layne, Dakota (77578) responded to a Shoplifting at 2220 Hamilton Place Blvd. Upon arrival police spoke with Mr. Wright who was a manger with Academy Sport. He stated that an unknown white male and an unknown white female entered the store concealed multiple items into a Nike back pack then left the store passing all points of sale. A store employee attempted to stop the male when he was leaving the store, the male ran from the store and got into a U haul Van in the parking lot. Police was unable to identify the suspects and ans unable to get a plate number for the van. The manager of the store estimated the price of the items taken to be $500. Photos attached. No further.

I responded to United Wrecker and was able to identify the vehicle as being the stolen auto. I contacted the victim and made her aware of where the vehicle was located. I also had NCIC remove the vehicle as stolen. This case will be suspended until suspect identification can be made.

Ms. Escobar heard the neighbor's dogs bark but did not hear the window break. When she open the door to the room where the window was broken she noticed the cold air. It appeared a large seed from a nearby tree had been used to break the window. The residence was added to the watch list for a week due to the fact it had previously been burglarized. No further police action was able to be taken at this time.

The callers stated they were unsure of the cost of the damage to the fence. Police checked the area but were unable to locate any possible suspect or witnesses. On 11/30/2017 at 09:00 hours, Officer Charles Bramlett (66966) observed a suspicious vehicle near the 2500 block of Wilder St. Police observed the vehicle was parked off the roadway in a vacant lot. Police checked the vehicle and observed it was unoccupied and was possibly stolen. Police checked with NCIC and confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen under complaint number 16-074330. Dispatch informed police that the original owners of the vehicle stated they had collected on their insurance claim and would not be in route to retrieve the vehicle. Police towed the vehicle and removed it from NCIC as stolen. Due to the implementation of a new computer program and the length of time the vehicle remained stolen, police were unable to complete a continuation report for comp# 16-074330. Police generated a new number and completed a new report for the recovery of the stolen auto. Nothing further to report.

During that time and for an unknown reason, the vehicle caught fire. The vehicle was quickly removed to a safe location where the fire was put out. The vehicle sustained some damage to engine compartment. The vehicle belonged to Marshal Mize Ford and a representative was present at the facility. Both the Dealer's Auto Auction and Marshall Mize Ford needed a property damage report made.

She says that sometime around the middle of November, she put a payment to Blue Cross/Blue Shield in her mailbox. She says that the check never cleared the bank. She says that she is sure it was stolen out of her mailbox as her neighbor's rent check did not reach the landlord. I instructed her to call her bank and have the check canceled giving the bank the complaint number and telling them she has reported it stolen.

He reported that an unknown black female used a forged/counterfeited check to purchase a gift card and bread. The complainant reported that total purchase made by the suspect was approximately $ 210.00 dollars. The video surveillance showed the suspect entering the store at 13:10Hrs and leaving around 13:15Hrs. The suspect used a check named to Shannon Brown from Suntrust Bank and she presented an ID from Georgia bearing number The Id came back to Jacob Alfred. According to the cashier that was at register # 5, he reported that the ID matched the name that was listed on the check presented by the suspect. The suspect was described as an African female, approximately 5'8' foot tall, heavyset, with long black hair. She was wearing a light blue scrub and black long sleeve shirt. A copy from the check and a copy from the video surveillance was submitted into Chattanooga property division under # 17-5040.

Mr. Beavers followed the 3 black females inside the store. Mr. Beavers stated that he was watching them because they he thought they were going to shoplift inside the store. The 3 black females noticed Mr. Beavers watching them and confronted him. The 3 black females left the store with after yelling at Mr. Beavers for following them. Mr. Beavers notified police because he was scared the 3 black females that he was following would return to the store. Mr. Beavers stated that it was against store policy to be following potential shoplifter. Police suggested Mr. Beavers follow store police and stop following people inside the store and he wouldn't be yelled at. No further.

I observed Mr. Dematteo change lanes across a solid line in order to go South on Hwy 153 as opposed to getting on to Dupont Parkway as his lane directed ( he was in the far right lane). Upon stop his tag was observed as expiring in 2015. HIs tag came back not on file as did his VIN on his vehicle. After a thorough investigation I was forced to release Mr. Dematteo with out being able to confirm the status of the vehicle.

Upon arrival police got out with Mr. Christerpher D Bertenshaw. Mr. Bretenshaw was on private property when he was approach by a security guard. The security guard felt like Mr. Bertenshaw was acting a little suspicious. The vehicles had been burglarize in the area in the past. So that is why security had approach Mr. Bertenshaw. Police explain to Mr. Bertenshaw that the area was private property and he needs to stay off the property. Mr. Bertenshaw left with no problems.

On 12/01/2017 at 08:00 hours, Officer P. McCall (0066492) responded to a disorder at 1910 Market St. When police arrived they met with Gail Hardy ) who was waiting at the gas pump. She explained that she had got into an argument with the store clerk about not receiving all the gas she paid for. She claimed that she took two items of candy to account for the difference in gas she did not receive but returned them after the argument was over. Police explained that the pumps are regulated through the department of agriculture and if she thought there's a problem with the pumps she could contact them. After speaking with police, Hardy left the scene without incident. Police spoke with the store manager and he explained that they had gotten the candy items returned. No further police action was needed at this time.

Addison reports he observed workers from Charles Paty construction what he described as "disturbing" newly laid trenches installed by public works for plumbing in a public easement. He states he began taking pictures of their activity and two of the workers for unknown reasons became offended and agitated and allegedly confronted Addison. He states one worker came so close to him they were touching noses, nearly becoming physical. He states they only left after he called for police assistance. Addison also alleges he believes this stems from a pending lawsuit he claims he has against Paty Construction. No further police action required at this time.

On 12/01/2017 at 10:05 hours, Officer Charles Bramlett (66966) responded to a disorder at the Alexian Brothers Community Service building at 425 Cumberland St. Upon arrival police spoke to the caller Alison Crane who stated they called because they were having issues with one of their clients. Mrs. Crane stated they decided to move one of their patients, Gladys Cofield from her residence to a nursing home. Mrs. Crane stated Gladys Cofield's residence was deemed inadequate and unsafe. Mrs. Crane stated they attempted to inform Gladys Cofield's son, Kendrick Cofield, of the decision but were unable to make contact. Mrs. Crane stated last night Kendrick Cofield called the facility and spoke to one of the Alexian Brothers nurses Danielle Tate. Mrs. Tate stated Kendrick Cofield was upset with the decision to move his mother and stated he would be a the facility in the morning and they better bring police. Mrs. Crane and Mrs. Tate stated they were unsure of what Kendrick Cofield meant by his statement and were unsure of what he would do. Police informed Mrs. Crane that they should attempt to contact Kendrick Cofield and schedule a meeting with him about his mother's situation. Mrs. Crane was informed to contact police if Kendrick Cofield continues to become an issue. Police placed the Alexian Brothers address on the watchlist for having problems with a disgruntled client. I was able to separate the two parties and speak with them individually. Mr. Douglas stated that Mr. Jackson had caused damage to his vehicle prior to police arrival, but did not wish to press charges. Mr. Jackson stated the damage was not caused by him, but he would pay for it if Mr. Douglas requested him to. The drivers side interior door panel was damaged inside the vehicle. I verified both parties information to ensure neither of them had any active warrants. Mr. Douglas stated he did not want to provide any further details of the incident. After speaking to both parties there was not any police action to be taken against either party. Mr. Douglas left the location without incident. Nothing further to report at this time.

Ms. Cameron stated that over the past few months mail has been stolen out of her mail box at her residence 8007 Holly Hills Dr. Some of the mail stolen had identification documents. Ms Cameron stated that on November 9th her Best Buy credit card was charged $4500.00. When Ms. Cameron investigated the charges she noticed that another authorized user had been added to her Best Buy account under the name Melissa McGhee. Best Buy credited the fraudulent charges back to Ms. Cameron. According to Ms. Cameron Best Buy has opened an investigation on the fraudulent charges. At this time there are no other accounts that have fraudulant charges outstanding that are known. The credit card information is unknown at this time. Nothing further to report. D17

Mr. Dunnigan stated that there was no firearm involved and he was only in a verbal disorder with a party who left the scene. She stated that this is very strange and she is concerned that it could be her ex-boyfriend. She stated that several years ago when they were going through the break up, he had left several apple cores on or in some of her belongings. She stated that her ex's name is Jamshid Igani but was unsure of his birthday. No damage was done to her vehicle and there was no video footage of the area her vehicle was parked in. On 12/02/2017 at 21:15 hours, Police responded to The InnTown Suites located at 1914 Gunbarrel Rd for a property damage report. Upon arrival, Police spoke to the complainant, Carl Caldwell, who stated he works at the business and was made aware of a broken window of a vehicle in the parking lot. Mr. Caldwell stated someone notified him that a bald white male was pacing around a dark Acura vehicle, picked a brick up, broke the rear window and possibly removed an item from the vehicle. Police observed a rear window broken out of a dark Acura bearing . There is no suspect information at this time.Approximately 30 minutes prior to this call, Police were requested to this location as a male, possibly Keith Noe, needed Police for a disorder prevention as a female stole some items and they were inside her vehicle, green Acura. The male needed Police to make her give the items back however Police were cancelled and never responded. Police were not able to locate an owner of the vehicle as it came back to an Angle Jose which was not on the roster for registered guests at the motel. No further.

She stated she just changed her locks and that she was sure she locked her door. Nothing was taken from her house and she is not sure of who it was. On 12/02/2017 at 22:19 hours, Officer Dewayne Prater (60839) reported a memo at 900 Airport Rd. Police spoke with Mr. Randall Walker. Mr. Walker told police he was here in Chattanooga from New York. Mr. Walker's next bus leaves at 1300hrs on 12/03/2017. Police transported Mr. Walker to the Rescue Mission. The staff at the Rescue Mission will give Mr. Walker a ride back to the bus station. There was no further police action taken.

On 12/02/2017 at 22:40 hours, Officer Roth (63831) responded to a disorder at 1908 S Watkins St. Upon making contact with Mr. Jackie Pierce his stated his girlfriend was arguing with a resident of his home. The girlfriend left the residence for the evening to allow things to cool off.

700 Pine St17-116494 12/2/2017 11:20:00PM 23F Theft from Motor Vehicle

On 12/02/2017 at 23:21 hours, Officer E. Buckman (66981) and Officer White (79555) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 700 Pine St. The victim Tiazandria Everette notified officers that her car had been broken into. Officers observed the Nissan Sentra with the front passenger window broken out approximate worth of ($140). The victim also stated that her wallet with $500 in cash was stolen as well as her Rayban sunglasses worth ($300). There is no suspect information at this time. No further incident.

3740 Tennessee Ave17-116546 12/2/2017 10:50:00PM 91Z Field Interview

On 12/02/2017 at 22:50 hours, Officer Retchko (66992) along with Officer Jones (79529) initiated a Field Interview at 3740 Tennessee Ave. While patrolling down Tennessee Ave, police noticed a man who appeared to be dancing in the street. Police got out with the man who turned out to be Mr. Jeffery Boozer. He had a bag in his hand that appeared to be an alcoholic beverage of some sort. Judging by how he was swaying and slurring his words police could tell he was intoxicated. Police made the decision to escort Mr. Boozer safely to his home after complying and discarding the alcoholic beverage in bag. No further actions were needed.

On 12/03/2017 at 08:55 hours, Officer COBB (60660) responded to a Vandalism at 715 E 49th St. Sandra Trammell(423-320-7998) reported that sometime last night the right rear tire on her maroon Ford Explorer was cut. The tire did have a cut on the sidewall and was flat. There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

On 12/03/2017 at 13:17 hours, Officer Glenn, Clifton (60757) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 1003 N Market St. I spoke with Steffen Katelouzos via telephone. He stated that sometime during the night, an unknown party entered his unlocked 2017 Jeep Cherokee and stole several items. He says the unknown took his spare tire, his car jack and two pair of tennis shoes. He also stated that the unknown took a Lenovo think pad which belongs to his employer, Allegis Group. Mr. Katelouzos stated that he does not have the information on the laptop and will have to call back later to add that information, once he obtains it from his employer. AT 0900 04 Dec. 2017, I spoke with Max Katelouzos via telephone. he provided the information on the laptop.

On 12/03/2017 at 15:45 hours, Officer Ellis (68393) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 1924 E 33rd St. Upon arrival, police spoke with a Ms. Nancy Byrd. Ms. Byrd stated that yesterday during her yardsale, a black male, thick build, curly hair, around 30 yo, had given her a $100 bill to buy $75 worth of miscellanious items. Ms. Byrd told the male that she didnt have change. The male told Ms. Byrd that he would pick out more items. Ms. Byrd said that she was excited and didnt check the $100 bill which turned out to be fake. Suspect is unknown at this point. No further at this time.

On 12/03/2017 at 18:20 hours, Officer J. Hampton (78385) responded to a Property Found at 128 N Lovell Ave. On scene, Police met with Ms. Kimberly Blake. Ms. Blake stated that she found an HP Chromebook laptop at her house. She believes that her nephew, Mr. Jonathan Talley, stole the laptop, but he denied stealing it. The computer is password protected, and the account users name is David Boyd. The laptop had been turned in to CPD Property.

On 12/04/2017 at approximately 11:56 hours, police spoke with Mrs. Greene via phone regarding additional damage/vandalism at Hixson Elementary School. Mrs. Greene stated she needed to add that the suspect/suspects had also spray painted the word "nigger," on a piece of playground equipment.

On 12/04/2017 at 10:35 hours, Officer Bissell (62704) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 314 Mcbrien Rd. Police spoke with complainant who stated his vehicle driver side door may have been unlocked and an unknown suspect stolen $375 cash from his center compartment. Complainant also stated his driver side door panel was damaged. Complainant stated that leasing management will be checking surveillance. No further information was given to police at this time. There was nothing to process on the vehicle. D1

On 12/05/2017 at 09:55 hours, Officer McCall (62872) responded to a MVT/Other at 1100 Heritage Landing Dr. Upon arrival, officer McCall spoke to the property manager Paul Brewster. Mr. Brewster said that on 12/02/2017 at 1620 hrs someone stole the golf cart from the Club House. Mr. Brewster said that they keep the golf cart plugged in next to the building. Mr. Brewster showed police video of the w/m suspect drive through the entrance gate and knock one of the arms off. The security guard looked out the window and never called police.

On 12/05/2017 at 09:44 hours, Officer Glenn, Clifton (60757) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 224 Booth Rd. I spoke with Tyler Green via telephone. She stated that on 29 Nov. 2017 after 2100 hours, an unknown party entered her 2005 Sion XA and stole several items. She says there was no damage to the vehicle and does not know how the unknown gained entry. Miss. Green says the following items were taken: phone charger, magnetic phone stand, black bank bag, $500.00 cash and her social security card.
