ASSIGNMENT
• You will be assigned a climate region in which you will need to read and research the climate region
• You will need to gather a few facts about the region and prepare a small presentation to the class• Include: Description, precipitation, where it is
found
• You will be presenting tomorrow and Tuesday.

• List and describe 3 climate regions you took notes on yesterday.

TUESDAY 11/25 – VEGETATION REGIONS
• Ecosystem: interdependent (work together) community of plants and animals
• Biome: ecosystem of a region • 4 types• Forestland: types of trees• Grasslands: flat, few trees• Tundra: small plants/shrubs near the ground
(plants have adapted to cold)• Desert: plants and trees that have adapted to
conserve water
