The City is presently seeking in-terested candidates to serve on the Planning Commission, Devel-opment Review Board and Downtown Board.The Planning Com-mission is responsible for updating the Com-prehensive Plan; pro-posing and updating new land use regula-tions; and reviewing projects in the design review district. The Development Re-view Board applies the land use regula-tions to development proposals and hears appeals of zoning ad-ministrator decisions. The Downtown Board works with the Down-town Manager to pro-mote the downtown, organize events, and develop strategies for economic develop-ment such as filling empty storefronts.
