SVC Bulletin of No picture, Abnormal display for 42PT,PW (42T3 Module)

Applied range: 42T3(N) module of 42PT,PW which has been

outgoing from JAN ~ JUL.2011

-. 42PW###(42T3 Module): PDP42T30000.AKLGG

Symptom: No picture, Abnormal display

After SET sold and abnormal display

occur within one month, sound OK

and no picture defect occur

the improvement of 42T3(N) Y-SUS B/D

: the improvement Y-SUS B/D don’t have blue-colored film cap.

For 42PT,PW(42T3 Module) no picture & abnormal display, Y,Z-SUS should be replaced for SVC, together

-. In case of 42PT,PW(42T3 module)no picture issue,

the Y,Z-SUS B/D should be replaed, together.

If 42T3 Y-SUS B/D is replaced,only, the Z-SUS B/D

can be damaged and no picture can occur, again

-. The caution: the soldering residue should be detatched

- the temp. of soldering iron

* MLCC capacitor: 330±20 ℃

* general parts: 380±30 ℃

- the touch between Y-SUS B/D

and table should be cautious

After detatching the C405,C607 of 42T3 Y-SUS B/D Top side, soldering C406, C615 of 42T3 Y-SUS B/D

bottom side should be reworked
