Patrachar Vidyalaya is the pioneer institution in the field of correspondence education at school level. It was established in January 1968 with the sole purpose of opening new vistas of education for the drop-outs and those belonging to weaker sections of society who could not continue their educational facilities. Admissions are opened for following categories:

1. Those who are residing in Delhi (Proof of residence of Delhi is required as per guidelines given in prospectus). 2. To Soldiers posted in the border regions. 3. Wards of Indian National residing abroad and working in India Missions.

4. Drop outs Male and Female( who are not able to go to regular schools)

The Patrachar Vidyalaya runs under the administrative and fiscal control of the Directorate of Education, Delhi. The Director of Education, Govt. of NCT, Delhi has the right to modify the rules and regulations regarding admissions or withholding the candidature of any student if considered necessary. All the disputes and court cases be settled in Delhi Courts only.

Caution: Patrachar Vidyalaya has not

authorized any outside individual or agency or consultancy or academy or any organization like Coaching Center to work on its behalf in any manner. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has taken the help of any of these private agencies for seeking admission to the course or in any other manner concerning this course ,

1. Character Certificate is not issued to students of P.V. 2. D.T.C. pass is not permissible to P.V. Students. 3. No application will be accepted after the expiry of the last date as notified time to time on our website. 4. The candidate must submit application form in person only and not through any agent, representative, coaching/tuition center or any other outside person.

Courses Offered: Patrachar Vidyalaya prepares

students for All India Secondary and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (X & XII Class) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi in all the three streams viz, Humanities, Commerce and Science.

Medium of Instruction/Examination: Except in languages, the medium of

instruction is Hindi/English and medium of Examination is Hindi/English/Urdu

Method of Imparting Education The Patrachar Vidyalaya provides the

support-material to all the students who are enrolled in Patrachar Vidyalaya. The material is in the shape of printed lessons on the subjects to supplement the study for text books and to help students to grasp the subject contents in the each subject. Available support - material based on CBSE syllabus will be supplied to the students at free of cost.

Students are advised to personally collect/ receive their support-material from Patrachar Vidyalaya, BL Block Shalimar Bagh, and Delhi-88. Patrachar Vidyalaya will provide the support-material depending

It is mandatory to attend PCP classes at any

centre designated by Patrachar Vidyalaya.

75% attendance in PCP Classes

is mandatory for appearing in CBSE

ASL HINDI for class XI/XII and ASL English core for class XI Examination will be conducted during PCP classes only

Eligibility for Admission

Class XI: Students must have passed Matriculation/ High School/ Secondary School Examation from a recognised Board/ Univeristy or any other equivalent examination.

Promotion of (PV) students from Class - XI to Class-XII

The students of Class XI will appear in the Exams as per details given below:-

1. The students of Class-XI will appear in the Annual Examination in the month of February-March as per the date-sheet & guidelines issued by the DoE. The students have to appear in the Examination at the Exam Centres designated by Patrachar Vidyalaya.

2. The students will have to appear for ASL and Practical Exams in the concerned subjects as per the CBSE and DoE guidelines issued time to time.

3. The students of Class-XI of PV who pass/fail in Class-XI Exams are eligible for Admission in Class XII in Patrachar Vidyalaya only. They will not be issued SLC (Students can not claim for SLC) of Class-XI for admission in Class-XII in any regular school.

4. The pass out students shall not be eligible for admission in class XII in any Govt. /Govt. Aided / Recognized school or any other school of Delhi state. The pass out students of class XI willing to take admission in class XII will have to apply afresh.

Two paid copies of Bank Challan is to be deposited at Patrachar Vidyalaya along with the admission form at the time of admission on or before the due date as per schedule published/notified by Patrachar Vidyalaya on its website www.edudel.nic.in (Patrachar Icon). Before depositing the requisite admission fee through Bank challan, students must ensure that they fulfil the criteria of admission & posses required documents. Fee once deposited shall not be refunded in any case.

candidate and current date on it) and submit

counter between 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM from

Re-imbursement of Fee for Govt. Servants

Govt. employees entitled to the facility of re-imbursement of fee paid by their wards as per the orders of DoPT Govt. of India issued time to time may submit reimbursement performa in the prescribed format to the principal Patrachar Vidyalaya for verification and signature. Patrachar Vidyalava Identity Card (PV Card 1. Patrachar Vidyalaya issues an identity card to the students mentioning P.V. No. after the admission. Students are advised to preserve and carry P.V. Card while visiting Patrachar Vidyalaya, attending PCP Classes, appearing for Practical/Assessment, Exam, Collection of CBSE admit Card, SLC, Marksheet & passing Certificate etc.

2. Duplicate PV CARD- The Duplicate Identity(PV) card will be issued only once in a session with the fine of rupees 100/-(one hundred only) deposited through Challan at SBI. Guidelines to students and parents during submission of CBSE Examination fee for Class X & XII and collection of Mark sheet cum certificate class X

As per CBSE circular CBSE/CE/PS/2019 Dated 20.05.2019 the student and parents are required to sign on LOC (List of candidates) at the time of submission of CBSE Examination fee.

At the time of collection of CBSE mark sheet cum certificate for class X, student and parents both have to sign a certificate provided by the CBSE on the back side of the mark sheet cum certificate.

Therefore, parents and students both have to be present personally to sign LOC for class X & XII and at Patrachar Vidyalaya at the time of submitting the CBSE Examination fee and collection of X class mark sheet cum certificate. The parents must bring their valid original proof of identity.

No form will be accepted and no Mark Sheet for class X will be issued without the physical presence of parents as well as student.
