The Cisco Networking Academy Program

• Timely response to global economic issues

• Alliance among Cisco and education, business, government, and communities

• Prepares students for higher education in computer science and engineering as well as for networking- and IT-related jobs

• It also creates a qualified talent pool that can design, build, and maintain the Internet infrastructure

Since it’s founding in 1997…

• …the Academy program has grown to more than 9,800 Networking Academies in 50 US states and over 146 countries.

• Over 260,000 students are enrolled in Academies in high schools, colleges and universities, technical schools, community-based organizations, and other educational programs around the world.
