    PRESS RELEASE

Food Junctions food courts supportRetail Price Watch Groups initiatives

In addition, Food Junctions Privilege Card (at $5 a card including 7% GST)offers 10% discount at all its food courts including Toast@Work outlets; 5%

discounts at its Tetsu restaurant and SoEZ studios.

SINGAPORE 8 April 2011 Mainboard-listed lifestyle food service company Food Junction

Holdings Limited (Food Junction or the Group) today announced that tenants at all 13

of its food courts in Singapore have rallied together in support of the Governments Retail

Price Watch Group (RPWG) initiatives to help curb inflationary pressures on consumers.

In a unanimous show of support for RPWGs initiatives, Food Junction and its tenants have

pledged to maintain their prices for the next six months. In doing so, they hope to do their

small part in reining inflation and continue to keep prices affordable for consumers as part

of its corporate social responsibility efforts.

Said Mr Eric Gan, Food Junctions Chief Financial Officer, We are very impressed and proud

of our food court tenants for their community spirit. When we first broached the subject

about them revising their price list to reflect the general increase in operating costs, we

were surprised that more than 90% of them indicated they had no intention to do so. We

are pleased that all of our tenants have pledged their support for RPWGs initiatives on the

premise that there would be no adverse changes to the economic situation or disruption to

food supplies. Many believe that the inflation is only temporary and are confident of the

Governments ability to rein in rising costs.

We are hoping that our loyal customers and consumers at large, will support Food

Junctions outlets and increase patronage at our stalls, and that the higher sales volume will

more than mitigate any raw material cost increases, he said.

Mr Gan added that the scale of participation among Food Junctions tenants spoke volumes

about their support for the RPWG programme, which was strictly voluntary. This support to

maintain prices is very much part of the Groups creed to bring wholesome, affordable food

to a wide spectrum of customers, and also part of its commitment to serve the community it

operates in. Food Junction will continue to work closely with its partners, including tenants

and landlords, to ensure that the Group delivers its brand promise to always bring value to

    its customers.

As an extension of this promise, Food Junctions Privilege Card, which was re-launched in

November 2010, offers a 10% discount at all Food Junction food courts and Toast@Work

outlets, and 5% discount at its Tetsu Japanese restaurant at Tanglin Mall and SoEZ cookingstudios at Great World City and United Square. At $5 a card (GST included), the Food

Junction Privilege Card will also help to stretch the dollar for its customers.
