Dear Herbert,
PETRO Industrial engaged Promech Pty Ltd (Promech) to complete a
review of the PC Cube tank range in relation to compliance with the
following standards:
• AS1692 -2006 Steel tanks for flammable and combustible
liquids;
• AS 1940 -2004 The storage and handling of flammable and
combustible liquids.
The following tanks within the PC Cube range were reviewed for
compliance against AS 1692 and AS1940:
• 500L, 600L, 1100L, 2000L, 2500L, 3000L,4500L,6300L, 8000L,
10000L.
These tanks were reviewed on the premise that they would be used
to store the following:
• Aviation Fuel, Diesel, Petrol, Lubricants and Waste Oil.
The scope of the compliance review was limited to the design,
construction and testing of the PC Cube range of tanks. No
installation requirements were considered in the review.
As part of the review process Promech has produced the following
review documentation:
• PTL01-M-SCH-0004 Rev 1 -AS1940 Code Compliance Schedule;
• PTL01-M-SCH-0005 Rev 1 -AS1692 Code Compliance Schedule;
• PTL01-PM-REP-0032 Rev 1 - PC Cube AS1692 and AS1940 Compliance
ReviewReport.
Promech has determined, based upon the above listed documents,
that all tanks within the PC Cube range under review have been
designed, constructed and tested in accordance with the
requirements of AS1692 and AS1940.
