Are you interested in a career in surveying and estimating? If you arekeen to consolidate your existing knowledge, then this course could beperfect for you.
You will focus on understanding the health and safety parameters as wellas understanding the tendering and estimating processes. You will alsocover surveying and the role of the building surveyor.
Entry Requirements:
To study the course, you must be aged over 16
and be educated to at least GCSE level. Factors
such as experience, enthusiasm, and self
motivation may be taken into consideration.You must have access to the internet to complete
the course.
Assessment Method:This course is marked through a process of
continuous assessment guided by your tutor
following EDEXEL guidelines. This means that
your qualification will be awarded according to
your performance on assessments rather than by
taking an exam.
Hours of Study:We recommended you spend approximately 180
hours of your time studying for the BTEC Level 3Advanced Surveying and Estimating Award. The
pace of study is completely up to you. To give
an example, if you dedicate 2 hours a week to
the course it would take you a year to complete
but if you could spare 4 hours a week you could
complete it in six months.
