RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COLLECTIVE

BARGAINING AGREEMENT WITH AFSCME, LOCAL 2314, COUNCIL 73, PUBLICWORKS SANITATION DIVISION

Resolution #10R- WHEREAS, the Township has recognized AFSCME, LOCAL 22314,

COUNCIL 73  as the bargaining unit for certain full time paid employees of the Public Works

Sanitation Division; and

WHEREAS, the Township and AFSCME, LOCAL 22314, COUNCIL 73  have negotiated a

contract for the period July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2012; and

WHEREAS, the Township Administrator and Township Attorney recommend the execution of 

the Collective Bargaining Agreement annexed hereto for the period July 1, 2010 through June

30, 2012;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of 

Ewing that the Mayor and appropriate officials are hereby authorized to execute the Collective

Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME, LOCAL 22314, COUNCIL 73  for the Public Works

Sanitation Division  for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012 in a form substantially

similar to that annexed hereto.

above is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Governing Body of the Township of 

Ewing at a Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Municipal Council of the Township of 

Ewing, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey held on the 9th

day of November, 2010.
