overnment procurement has become a specialized function in the era of globalization. The changing business Genvironment calls for efficient, responsive and transparent purchase procedures. Today, the world class
organizations talk about the dedicated suppliers and emphasize on need of an Efficient, Transparent and Effective
Supply Chain Management.
Public buying procedures and policy instructions are based on the General Financial Rules (GFR) of the Dept. of
expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. These are a compendium of general provisions to be
followed by all offices of Government of India while dealing with matters of the financial nature. The PUBLIC
PROCUREMENT Bill is aimed at providing the procurement rules and framework encompassing the guidelines
covered by General Financial Rules, 2005, Defence Procurement Procedure and Manual, CVC Guidelines and all
necessary existing procurement rules/guidelines under its spectrum for ensuing Transparent, Efficient and
Accountable Procurement.
Thus, with a view to clarifying many important issues and to discuss modifications that will enhance thefficiency and transparency in Government Purchasing, ASSOCHAM is organizing 10 Public Procurement
Summit at 9:30 a.m. on July 27, 2016 at Hotel Royal Plaza in New Delhi.
The Summit will bring together various professionals involved in public procurement from different Government
Departments, PSUs, State Governments and Private organizations to share the best practices and to discuss the
critical issues of today and the future. The aim of this forum is to provide a common platform for all stakeholders to
have a wider discussion on various aspects relating to public procurement.

EXHIBITION DETAILS & FEE:Stalls measuring 3x2 meter each are available for Rs. 50,000/- (including Service Tax @15%.). Each stall is built up having depth of 2 meter and width of 3 meter with facilities like –wall partition, covering, carpet, one table, one chair, spotlight, waste paper basket, etc. Companies may send their request for bigger space and accordingly the fee would be payable.
