Montgomery County will hold its 10th annual Senior Safety Forum in conjunction with“World Elder Abuse Awareness Week,” and “Maryland Protect Week” on June 15 - 20, 2020.
This year’s theme is “Lifting Up Our Voices: Building Bridges and Strong Supports for Seniors”.
All seniors and their families are invited to take advantage of and enjoy the County’sresources and programs specifically designed to support our senior residents.
The purpose of the forum is to educate our community members, includingolder adults, family members, and professionals on the presence of
elder abuse, the warning signs, and where to find help.
Representatives and exhibitors from organizations that assist seniors will be onhand to provide information. Many of these organizations play a direct role inhelping seniors reduce their vulnerability to abuse and keeping seniors safe.
Opportunity to turn in unused/unwanted paper to be shredded.
