Equipment Usage Guidelines
This equipment is the property of Accenture. It is provided for use in conducting
Accenture business and occasional personal use. It is your responsibility to handle this
equipment with reasonable care and ensure that it never changes hands. If you desire
additional or non-standard equipment, a WBS element must be provided.
Damaged Equipment
In the event that your Accenture issued equipment is damaged, hardware repairs that
are covered under vendor warranty will be repaired at no cost. However, not all repairs
are covered under vendor warranty. You will be required to provide a WBS element to
cover any non-warranty repair costs.
Equipment Security
Equipment security is a major concern for Accenture. NEVER leave your equipment
unattended in a public area or in your car (except in your trunk if no other option
is available). Use your security cable at all times. If you do not have a security cable you
may obtain one from your Local Technology Services team.
Should your equipment be lost or stolen it is your responsibility to immediately contact
the Accenture Security Operations Center (ASOC) at 1-877-728-0645 to report your
machine missing. The ASOC will help you determine if sensitive/confidential Accenture
or client data located on your machine is at risk. You will also need to contact Help
Desk Services at 800-672-6664 or Local Technology Support in order to receive a
replacement machine. Before new equipment can be issued an A.S.O.C reference # and
police report will need to be filed. Loss or negligence of Accenture equipment may
result in a personnel memorandum being placed in your personnel file or a WBS
element being needed prior to reissue of equipment.
Software Policy
It is a violation of federal law to install any software on equipment that is not licensed
for use. The software products provided for you on your Accenture issued equipment
are officially licensed software products and are governed by agreements between
Accenture and approved vendors.
Termination of Employment
Upon termination of employment, you are responsible for returning all Accenture issued
equipment on or before your termination date in good, working condition to Local
Technology Services.
You should understand that Accenture takes misappropriation of, or failure to return its
assets, very seriously. If Accenture determines that you have misappropriated or
otherwise failed to return any of its assets and/or its confidential or proprietary
materials, we are prepared to pursue any and all appropriate and available legal
remedies, including the use of a collection agency.
