August 11 Saint Benedict Abbey / ABBAYE SAINT-BENOÎT Pilgrimage to the Saint Benoit-du-Lac Monastery with guided tour to learn about monastic life and discover the beautiful architecture and history of the site, including Mass. Leaving at 7:30am sharp by a deluxe bus, return at 7pm. Departure from Mary Queen of Peace Church parking lot. Tickets: $40. Eva : [email protected]; Loretta : 514-951-8626; Catherine 514-835-9502 JESUS LIGHT OF THE WORLD COMING ACTIVITIES July 13 – 15 Teenagers 14 to 18 years old. Trip to Youth conference in Toronto, this summer, July 13 - 15. It is a fantastic gathering of teenagers to celebrate the Lord, through friendship, prayer, games, and great talks. Cost $300. We will be travelling by bus organized by the diocese of Montreal. The parish will organize a fundraiser to help defray the cost to our youth. If you are interested, please call the office, and we will forward the name to Jean-Marie who is leading our youth.
CWL News St. Luke's CWL will be holding an afternoon Strawberry Social on July 4th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. A light dessert of fresh Quebec strawberries, ice cream, and cake will be served, followed by a cards/games party--any game you wish to play. The cost of the tickets is $8. For information and tickets call Laraine (514-626-1286) or June at the office (514-684-6488). Please join us, along with your friends for this great summertime fun, door prizes and raffle. Bring your own board games and cards.

PÈLERINAGES PAROISSIAUX 2018 11 Août, Abbaye Saint-Benoit-du-Lac Pèlerinage à l’Abbaye Saint-Benoit-du-Lac avec un tour guidé pour apprendre le style de la vie monastique et découvrir la beauté de l’architecture et l’histoire du site, incluant la Messe. Départ : 7h30 stationnement de l’église Marie Reine de la Paix. Retour 19h00; les billets sont à $40.00. Nouvelles de la CWL
La Catholic Women’s League (CWL) tiendra un événement social le 4 juillet de 13h00 à 16h00 ; on l’appelle l’après-midi des fraises. Un léger dessert aux fraises du Québec, crème glacée et gâteau sera servi, suivi d’un party de jeux de cartes – n’importe lequel jeu. Le coût des billets est de $8. Pour se procurer des billets ou avoir de l’information, appelez Laraine (514-626-1286) ou June au bureau (514-684-6488). Joignez-vous à nous avec vos amis (es) pour un après-midi de plaisir, des tirages et prix de présence. Apportez votre planche de jeu et vos cartes.
