Balance of power-an equilibrium of power sufficient to discourage or prevent one nation or party from imposing its will on or interfering with the interests of anotherAlliance-a formal agreement or treaty between two or more nations to cooperate for specific purposes.

Isolation(ism)- The policy of isolating one’s country from the affairs of other nations by declining to enter into alliances, economic commitments and international agreements and seeking to devote the entire efforts of one’s country to its own advancement.

Mass Communication-Delivery of messages to the general public by utilizing media that reaches a great amount of people, such as the national press, radio, and television.

Militarism:-a policy of aggressive military preparedness.

Propaganda- the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping a cause or person, or damaging an opposing cause or person.

Genocide- the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, cultural, or political group by those in power.

Racism-hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Disarmament- is the act of reducing, limiting, or abolishing weapons
