BOUNCE GUIDES. This is the line that the ball will follow to create the animation of bouncing. To make the lines as neat and realistic as possible i used a ellipse tool stretched upwards. Then by joining them together and selection the part i wanted with the square marque tool i inverted the selection and deleted. SIZE GUIDES. This is the guides that guide the balls size. To keep the ball the same size and in the guidelines makes it easier to keep it a realistic size. I made this with the brush tool and following the lines i drew with the ellipse tool bearing in mind i had to keep them the same distance apart from the ellipse line. OVERALL GUIDES. This shows all the guides i was using to help me place the ball in the right place and where the key frames are. The crossʼs are the key frames and the numbers are where each individual ball goes. Since i drew it instead of using the ellipse tool it was sometimes hard to keep it a circle around the number. I made this by Putting crossʼs at the peak of each arch and the bounce at the bottom. I numbered where each ball should go by using a guide on the bouncing ball technique. Sources: http://www.idleworm.com/how/anm/01b/bball.shtml Bouncing ball breakdown and animation final.
