Executive Chef: Kiran Patnam

As a global Artisan council member for Marriott international, Chef Kiran Patnam brings avariety of fresh ideas and modern twists to his new home kitchen at the JW Marriott EdmontonICE District. His passion for cooking is comfort cuisine that he infuses with modernizedcreativity. Keeping with the trends, he creates innovative menus which he accents withseasonal flavors and local ingredients.

Career

Chef Kiran Patnam carries 14 years of culinary knowledge, in a variety of cooking techniquesthat infuse his take on modern culinary art to couple visual presentation and comfort flavorstogether. He has tenured at several different Marriott properties and brands across Asia andthe United States including: Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, and Gaylord, expanding his skill andrefining his quality of service for our guests.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts from Culinary Academy of India.Culinary Expertise: Western, Indian and Japanese.

Won Beat Bobby Flay reality cooking competition in 2018

Hosted weekly live TV series “Sunday Brunch” – Baltimore

MENUSTo create a legendary experience, we will require your final menu selections one (1)month prior to your reception. All menu prices are subject to a taxable service charges& sales tax. All food & beverage must be supplied & prepared by the JW MarriottEdmonton ICE District & consumed on the premises. Consuming raw or uncookedmeat, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

FUNCTION GUARANTEESFinal guest guarantees are required by 12:00pm, three (3) business day prior to thescheduled function. If no guarantee is provided, the contracted attendance numberwill be considered the guarantee.

DEPOSITSAn initial deposit in the greater amount of a 25% advance deposit will be required tosecure function space for all social functions. Subsequent deposits will be processedleading up to your wedding day & will be established in your contract. Payment of allcontracted charges are expected seven (7) business days prior to your event, basedupon your guarantee.

COAT CHECKJW Marriott Edmonton ICE District is pleased to offer coat check services uponrequest. Please confirm with your Sales or Event Manager on pricing. | $400 flat fee

BANQUET/EVENT GUARANTEEThe Group will have all menu selections completed no later than thirty (30) days priorto the event. The Group will also notify the Event Manager at the Hotel of the finalcount no later than three (3) working days prior to the event, or the expected numberwill be used. This number will be your guarantee & is not subject to reduction. We willset & prepare food for 3% over the guarantee.
