STAGE ONE: This is what i started with when i started my kitchener poster. I took my photo of myself in the kitchener pose and transferred it to laptop and opened it in photoshop... STAGE TWO: I then cut out the background using the quick selection tool. After that i cut out my body up to my neck and up to my wrist and adjusted my hand to the same area in the kitchener poster by comparing it in two windows. STAGE THREE: I sketched around my face and hand and used one colour get the image i wanted knowing i was going to add darker and lighter versions as shade later. STAGE FOUR: I the marque square tool and filled in the background. To make the speech bubble i used lots of white circles in a cloud shape and then made black circles a layer under with the circle marque tool. STAGE FIVE (FINAL): I added text in to the speech bubbles looking closely to the style in the original and resizing the letters in photoshop to look more ʻdrawnʼ. I did this by creating a border around the letter then filling it with the paint bucket with black creating a outline. I then added another cloud at the bottom with the twitter link and the longroad logo at the top right.
