Culinary SpecialtiesBavarian specialties like “Grieben“ lard, Obatzda cheese and wurst salad, bratwurst and steaks, chicken and curry wurst, grilled and smoked trout, döner, pizza, pasta, Greek specialties, Mexican kitchen and Russian special-ties, coffee and cake, ice cream and fruit salad – there will be something to eat for every taste.

ExhibitionsOpening hours: Saturday, 03 July 2010 from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, 04 July 2010 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Historic Vehicles DisplayOn Saturday, 03 July 2010 starting at noon and on Sunday, 04 July 2010 starting at 11 a.m. collectors and veterans offer a large display of historic military vehicles and uniforms in the city park and Untere Torstraße.
Tours of Grafenwoehr Training AreaTours of the training area, including live fire by Tank Brigade 12 “Oberpfalz“ are offered on Saturday, 03 July 2010 starting at noon and on Sunday, 04 July 2010 starting at 11 a.m. Registration for tours at the museum. Busses leave every 30 minutes from the museum – Length of tours: 1.5 hrs.

Children’s ProgramSunday is children’s day. Parents can enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake while kids have fun with archery, on the children’s carousel, the jum-ping castle, or the kids‘ make-up booth.
Independence DayThe United States is celebrating Independence Day on Sunday, 04 July 2010. Gate 1 opens in the afternoon and the Water Tower opens for tours from 3 – 7 p.m. Wine from Grafenwöhr’s Austrian partner city is offered for all that want to brace themselves before climbing up the Water Tower, or after coming back down. The City of Grafenwöhr Public Works give away free water at the drinking water bar. Fest activities also take place on the parade field . American grill specialties are served.
Independence Day festivities end around 11.30 p.m. with a large fireworks display.

4:30 p.m. Children’s parade with balloons and the band of the Grafenwöhr Voluntary Fire Dept. from the town hall to the Kennedy Monument (across from the German post office)
- Every child will receive a balloon and an ice cream coupon -
5 p.m. Opening of the Citizen’s Fest with keg tapping by First Mayor Helmuth Wächter and Colonel Nils C. Sorenson
5:30 p.m. Fest activities start
8 p.m. – Live music by the band “Highlife“ –1 a.m. a guarantee for a successful event!
This excellent rock and pop cover band guarantees a great par-ty. A highly explosive mix of current chart hits, rock classics, pop and new metal cast a spell on the audience. The band presents an individual program for each event! Let them surprise you!

6 p.m. Country and Western time with the “Flying Boots“
