The ITB Migration Adapters (ADP-ITB) allow to connect easily, existing Fischer and Porter System 6 FTAs to DeltaV I/O cards keeping in place : • the existing I/O panels (ITBs)• the existing associated I/O cables• the existing loop power supplies connected on the FTAs

Compatibility tableIOB (Input/Output Board) :The board which is to be removed
FTA (Field Termination Assembly) :The I/O panel where the I/Os are connected, and which is kept
Firelec Adapter :The migration adapter to be installed in BC11007 (new I/O file) to perform I/O migration and process signal spliting toward the DeltaV system I/O cards.

The main advantages of the FMS-DCI6-DV-1 (ADP-ITBs)for Fischer and Porter System 6 migration are as follow :
• Existing I/O cables are just disconnected from the Fischer and Porter System 6 I/O boards and reconnected
to the ADP-ITBs keeping in place the FTAsand associated I/O cables
• The existing loop drawings are kept without any modification, allowing all maintenance processes and procedures
to remain unchanged.
