developed a School Education Qua-lity Index (SEQI) that will assessand rank states based on 34 indica-tors across five domains includinglearning outcomes, access outco-mes, equity outcomes, governanceprocess and structural reforms un-dertaken by states.

New Delhi: After ranking states onease of doing business and agricultu-re reforms, the Narendra Modi go-vernment is set to rank states on edu-cation outcomes in a move aimed atencouraging states to improve outco-mes in cost-effective ways, boost in-novation and share best practices.The first such ranking is expected tobe out in June next year.
