After Breakfast at our Hotel, we depart Milan on our way to Verona. Arrival at Verona, and a short visit to the Center of the Town. Later, we continue to Padua, home of St. Anthony, Patron Saint of ‘Things

Lost’. Holy Mass at the Basilica built in his honor. Dinner and Overnight in Padua. Thursday, October 14, 1999

VENICE

Breakfast at our Hotel. Then we drive to Venice, one of the world’s unique cities. We celebrate Holy Mass at St. Mark’s Cathedral, after which we stroll through the Square,

visiting Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sights. After spending time in beautiful Venice, we return to our Hotel in Padua for Dinner and Overnight.

Arrive Rome in morning. We will spend all day in Rome the Basilica of St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, the Catacombs of St. Callistus (St. Cecilia), Quo Vadis, and a brief visit to Imperial Rome, the Coliseum (from outside) and the Roman Forum. Dinner and (optional) evening drive through Rome to Trevi Fountain.

Sunday, June 22, 2014 ROME/BASILICAS

To Vatican City for Sunday Mass and Noon Angelus with the Pope. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the crypt of St. John Paul II. In the afternoon visit the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the Basilica of St. John Lateran, plus the Holy Stairs and the Holy Cross in Jerusalem with the relics of Christ. Drive to Sorrento.

Monday, June 23, 2014 SORRENTO/CAPRI/POMPEII/

POSITANO/SORRENTO This morning we take our boat to the island of Capri and visit the beautiful island. Back by ferry boat to Sorrento and by bus to Pompeii to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Pompeii, then to Positano to visit St. Andrew’s relics, and en route, the tomb of St. Philomena.

Return to our hotel with a drive along the coast for dinner and overnight.

Tuesday, June 24, 2014 SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO

This morning we drive to San Giovanni Rotondo to visit the places associated with Saint Pio. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace with the tomb of Padre Pio. See his room and confessional. Visit Corato with relics of Luisa Piccarreta, Little Daughter of the Divine Will Devotion. An overnight ferry (with sleeping accommodations) from Bari to Dubravnik.

Wednesday, June 25, 2014 DUBRAVNIK/MEDJUGORJE

Drive to Medjugorje to arrive of the 33rd Anniversary of the reported apparitions. In the evening, participate in confession, the Croatian Mass and the Healing of the Sick. Attend evening apparition each day.

Thursday, June 26, 2014 MEDJUGORJE

Begin the day at St. James for the morning English language Mass. Visit with visionaries (as is possible). We will follow the same path up the Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. We will have a chance to climb Krizevac Mountain, with its high concrete cross, praying the Stations of the Cross.

This morning, after Breakfast, we drive through the wine region to the city of Sienna, birthplace of St. Catherine, Virgin and Doctor of the Church. Our short visit will include the Cross from which St. Catherine received the Stigmata. We stroll through the silent narrow streets from the central square of Piazza Del Campo, to the Piazza Del Duomo, overshadowed by the tall marble Cathedral. Continue to Assisi. Dinner and Overnight at our Hotel.
