Welcome to the University of Chicago!
On the following pages you will find a schedule of activities and sessions
offered during our Spring Open House. Parents and students are welcome
to split up and attend different sessions. We encourage everyone to attend the
welcome at 8:30 a.m. and the social hour at 1:00 p.m.
Please feel encouraged to meet people, ask lots of questions, and imagine yourself in
this community—including Hyde Park’s many restaurants, bookstores, museums,
parks, and more. Explore the information provided in your folder and feel free to
call on our students and staff for recommendations, directions, and suggestions.
Enjoy your visit!
Follow us on social media for updates throughout the day! Use #UChicagoVisit with pictures you take while on campus, and we will post some of our favorites.
