What makes CIS Tours unique?CIS tours have stood the test of time. CIS is a non-profit that has been sponsoring recruitment tours for nearly 40 years. Our tour leaders are all experienced admissions counselors working at CIS member institutions. They understand your needs and goals. CEMA is a group of experienced admission professionals who volunteer their time to plan and direct recruitment tours in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

CIS tours focus entirely on undergraduate recruitment. Tour events only include invited students from high quality CIS member schools and outstanding national schools with student populations preparing to study abroad.

CIS tours offer inclusive pricing which covers all logistics and events. There are no surprise bills at the end of the tour.

CIS tours are truly educational. During the tour, participants conduct in-depth workshops to help students, parents, counselors, and teachers learn more about various admission related topics. Daily interactions with admissions professionals from other CIS member institutions allow you to learn from the experiences of others, share ideas, and build your network.

ABOUT THE TOUR

University representatives from all regions are invited to join the CIS Middle East Tour which will reach key cities in the Middle East and includes an optional add-on stop at the beginning of the tour in Cairo, Egypt. Following that, we will be visiting a diverse group of local and

international high schools in Amman, Kuwait, Doha, Manama, Muscat, and Dubai. In addition to giving admissions-related presentations and hosting workshops

reaching students, parents, guidance counsellors, and EducationUSA advisors, tour participants will enjoy ample networking opportunities as part of the

tour including a high school guidance counsellor fly-in. The cost of the tour is $13,370 (including deposit). Tour participants are able to choose to participate from Amman to Doha or pay the additional fee for the stop in Cairo. The add-on to Egypt is $2,463. The cost of the add-on to Egypt will include the flight from Cairo to Amman, three hotel nights, visa, and all transportation between airport, school visits, and hotel. Wren and Fida will work with each individual traveler for flights and hotel nights needed in Cairo or Amman.

CIS is a pioneering organization when it comes to student recruitment in this region. The collective experience of the volunteer members of the

Committee for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMA) provides you with an excellent opportunity to meet your recruitment objectives. Exceptional

travel logistic support is provided by our partners at Wren & Fida. Tour participants can expect a high level of service before, during, and after the tour.

“Personally the tour brought more enlightenment to

me as an individual. It allows one to understand (from both the professional

and personal perspective) many aspects of a region—from the educational background to personal life styles. For the institution, brand awareness has become

stronger over the years and continues to do so.”

-Nadia Agarrat, New York Institute of Technology
